I might. I'm not a big Stevens fan.

But I wanted to open today with this story of government malfeasance

A four-hour system interruption in September at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri has been attributed to a cat jumping on a technician's keyboard.

Thankfully the server was restored within 4 hours, but honestly, did anyone notice? I mean, cats do this All. The. Time.

Karma is a female dog.

In the case of Carson, in particular, the more I read about him, the more I virtually piss on his grave.

I don't want to do that, but I do want to have parents of children think two, three, or ten times about what they are teaching their kids about cause and effect when it comes to the law and law enforcement.

He apparently has quite the social-media history of sneering when violence and death are visited upon conservatives.

So, yeah, I'm at the very least having trouble finding any tears for him.

And I don't know if you caught what's arguably the most jaw-dropping aspect of the Carson murder.

When the police arrived, his super-woke girlfriend (who was with him at the time of the murder) refused to give them a physical description of the attacker.  Because... he's black.

Who taught him this behavior, though? Who taught him that violence never happens in the US (or, according to some theories, anywhere)?

I'm... not sure that anyone taught him that.  You can't live in NYC and be entirely unaware that violence happens

In any event, he was an adult, and responsible for his actions and thoughts.

True. I can't dispute that. I still wonder about what he learned growing up that made him think that he would never suffer any repercussions from his positions.
