"Just days [after] border Patrol's Tucson sector reported having 15,300 illegal crossings last week (highest weekly total ever), Tucson sector BP says it's pausing its social media until further notice due to 'ongoing migration surge.' This account posts valuable info & data. Wow."

When you positively absolutely have to hide the truth from the voters.

Miley in Argentina, Trump waiting in the wings (if he wins the election), and Geert Wilders ready to be Prime Minister again.

Perhaps the globalist left should think twice before pushing so hard. That would require second order reasoning, though.

Wow.

Of course, this will get zero MSM coverage.  But you knew that.

Good morning, all.

USS Mason (DDG-87) captured Houthi pirates who had seized Israeli-owned tanker off Yemen; Houthis on shore then fired missiles the Mason, but missed.

The "insurrection" is far too useful to the Uniparty to let the truth get out.

To be honest, that article was confusing. No clarity as to whether any members of the Israeli ship were hurt or killed; no indication of how many missiles were fired. It seemed written to make it as obtuse as possible.

Electric mayhem, with a fabulous quote from Ace:

"Back in 1860, the Pony Express could deliver mail from Missouri to California in 10 days. Now, 163 years later, our elites are gushing over a limited-use conveyance that takes 16 days to travel from Vermont to Florida."

Having things that actually work is, of course, completely irrelevant to the Proggie worldview.

See, e.g., government-regulated washing machines, dishwashers, toilets, showers, gas cans, etc. etc. etc.

Oh, I'm starting to think it is intentional to make everything broken and force the peons to live like serfs.

I've pointed out several times---though not recently---that between 50 and 80/90 years ago, most major US cities had entirely, or almost entirely, electric buses.  Not "hybrids," but fully-electric buses.

These buses---also known as "trolley-buses," ran not on trolley-car rails, but on normal tires---but they took their power from the electric-wire grids which crisscrossed the the major thoroughfares of practically every major American city, and many minor cities as well.  In Chicago, these buses were the primary source of surface transportation---but they were scrapped in favor of diesel buses just prior to Jimmy Carter's energy crisis (great timing, there!).

Most environmentalcases appear to be unaware that trolley buses even exist, or ever existed.  And, of course, they posess many features which are anathema to the environmentalcase worldview:

1) They are historically proven to actually work;

2) They are a known, familiar technology, so there is a wealth of recorded/archived information on their strengths and weaknesses;

3) They do not require the dual-propulsion systems of "hybrids," which systems increase weight, manufacturing and purchasing expense, and maintenance costs, while decreasing passenger space;

4) The electricity that they use, coming as it likely would from a fossil-fueled electric plant, can be "scrubbed" at the plant---and would, therefore, likely be more "green" than the emissions-controls from individual balky "hybrids";

5) Re-stringing the electric lines over urban roadways would be a jobs program.

Trolley-buses are still much used in some European cities.

Oh---one more thing.  One other reason our environmentalcases don't like trolley-buses is that they are not "light rail," since trolley-buses run on tires.

The environmentalcase fascination with toy railroads, i.e., light-rail trolley lines, makes them all sound light eight-year-olds.
