So at what point do we realize the FBI is not going to provide what it has been charged to release, and what recourse do we have? There have been concerns about the death of Seth Rich for years, as it may have been the real reason why Trump was accused of being an asset of Russia. So asking the FBI to release what it knows about Rich's murder would help to dispel the rumors of hit jobs at the request of the Democrats.

Despite a court ordering the FBI to release what they have, they are refusing to do so. The latest maneuver is the FBI submitting another brief to the court after their deadline for releasing the material had expired, saying, "schedule some more time for us to argue why we shouldn't have to produce this stuff."

I don't want to suggest we start going for pitchforks and nooses. I want to hear a way to force these government entities to be accountable.

Chicago Public Schools Have Lost $23 Million Worth of ‘Free’ Laptops and Other Electronic Devices Provided to Students in One Year

I'm guessing they had no clue how to track the devices using an MDM solution, which any reputable company should know.

Good morning.  Remember how during the dark Trump years, there was constant war and chaos?  Thank heavens we're now living in the peace and abundance of the wonderful Biden years.

US, UK strike 16 sites in Yemen, attacking Houthis

Copying over the BBC summary:

  • The Houthis vow that US and UK strikes on their positions in Yemen will not go without "punishment or retaliation"
  • The Iran-backed group pledges to continue its attacks on ships in the Red Sea and its support for Hamas in Gaza
  • Overnight military strikes by air and sea targeted 16 Houthi positions including command centres, munitions depots and air defence systems, the US says
  • President Biden says the action will protect the free flow of international commerce
  • British PM Rishi Sunak says the strikes were "limited, necessary and proportionate action in self-defence"
  • Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer backs the action, but some opposition parties say Britain's parliament should be recalled to debate it
  • The Netherlands, Australia, Canada and Bahrain provided support as part of the mission, says Biden

I may have figured out a mystery. I was trying to figure out one of Joe Biden's email aliases he used while in office to contact family members. This Gateway Pundit article lists the known ones, and the one I was interested in was Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov.

My curiosity reared its head because it looks like a government address, implying someone else in a government position had to create this email account. All the others were gmail accounts, but not this one.

So what is PCI.gov? I did a WHOIS database search, and there is no PCI.gov--now. Maybe there was in the past, but I can't confirm that.

But something that sort of tracks with the initials PCI is the Payment Card Industry, the group of organizations that process credit and debit card payments. Given Biden's close connection to MBNA, it makes sense that someone would give him an email address. The only website I can easily find related to this is the PCI Security Standards Council at pcisecuritystandards.org. Not a .gov. So the mystery isn't solved yet, but I've been periodically digging into this.

Oh--I forgot to quote part of GP's article.

After missing the deadline to turn over the requested documents, the National Archives said it located 82,000 pages of emails then-Vice President Joe Biden sent or received on three separate private pseudonym accounts to conduct illicit business deals with foreign officials.

The National Archives is withholding 99.98% of Joe Biden’s alias emails, according to House Oversight Chairman James Comer. Up until this week, NARA had only turned over 14 pages of the 82,000 pages.

...

The new records include an August 18, 2016, email sent from his Rosemont Seneca email address to Secret Service Assistant Director of the Office of Investigations Jeremy Sherida, Hunter Biden writes: “Thank you. Both the Vice President and I sign off on the agreed upon requested interruption in protection for Natalie and Hunter.” The interruption in protection was from August 18 to August 22, 2016, during their trip to Kosovo and was to resume up their return to Washington, D.C., on August 22, 2016. The Biden family was in Kosovo where the country erected a statue of and named a highway after Beau Biden. It is not known where Hunter Biden and Natalie Biden went without their Secret Service detail.

*Stopping* SS protection while overseas? For four days? I am soooo curious....

BBC analysis: Bombing the Houthis will only make them stronger, they laugh off our puny efforts, what the West should really be doing is acceding to their demands, by forcing a permanent ceasefire (aka Hamas victory) in Gaza.

OK, I'm paraphrasing, but only a little.  "This is the BBC."

The "sanctuary cities" are talking about tent-city accommodations.  Does nobody remember Quonset huts, which are cheap and quick and easy to build?

Well, you can't really spur the economy with Quonset huts; much better to pay millions to have new apartments made. Don't worry about how those apartments will be trashed within months.

Of course you can spur the economy with Quonset huts; think of the acres of corrugated steel necessary to build them.

As I've seen in put; Chamberlain was correct in his assessment at the time that the UK was not ready for war.  What he didn't realize was; neither was Germany.
