Heh: 

The galaxy brains at the White House X account quoted Cookie Monster asserting, "C is for consumers getting ripped off." The unfiltered responses to their post should have alerted them to the complete failure of their effort. Users assured them that C actually stood for things like corruption, control, crack, CCP, and collusion.

Stephen Green did some research to explain why Google's Gemini AI image engine is so bad-- he quotes Mike Sojana at Pirate Wires, where Mike says:

A user makes a request for an image in the chat interface, which Gemini — once it realizes it’s being asked for a picture — sends on to a smaller LLM that exists specifically for rewriting prompts in keeping with the company’s thorough “diversity” mandates. This smaller LLM is trained with LoRA on synthetic data generated by another (third) LLM that uses Google’s full, pages-long diversity “preamble.” The second LLM then rephrases the question (say, “show me an auto mechanic” becomes “show me an Asian auto mechanic in overalls laughing, an African American female auto mechanic holding a wrench, a Native American auto mechanic with a hard hat” etc.), and sends it on to the diffusion model. 

But I have to think--maybe that was the point? They wanted people to turn away from AI so Google would retain their power. It's either that or they are so brain dead that they should be fired. 

Hmmm. Perhaps the latter position has great merit.

This is a sad story, mostly because everyone will only remember this one aspect of the guy: 

One ultra-left extremist was so sure what he believed was the gospel that he wanted unvaccinated people arrested and put away in concentration camps. Ian Vandaelle was a Canadian business journalist who worked as a reporter and editor at the Financial Post. Before that, he was a producer at BNN Bloomberg for over a decade.

However, during the “plandemic,” he called for vaccine passports and mandates in posts on social media. He even called for the firing of anyone who refused the injections. In one social media post he stated:

I, for one, advocate we bring the carrot and the stick. Incentivize getting the vaccine however we like, ice cream, lotteries, literally whatever, I don’t care, and require vaccination to do non-essential things.

Remember when presidential election season was all about giving the two candidates a chance to present their views so the voters could decide who they prefer? Good times, good times. 

Now, it's all about figuring out how to railroad Trump with a conviction so LIVs will turn to Biden. John Sexton lays out how brazenly an article by Thomas Edsall in the NYT confirms that they just want to "get Trump" so Biden wins the election. That is the (seemingly) entire election strategy.

We knew this, and yet to see it spelled out in such black and whites terms is shocking. And Edsall doesn't seem to find any issues with this.

The question on most pundits' minds is whether Presidentish Joe Biden will glitch badly enough that it derails his entire election campaign. The question on my mind is whether Biden will be so amped up, courtesy of Dr. Feelgood, that he blazes right through the glitches so quickly that we're forced to marvel at the medically induced miracle of it all.
