Good morning. So after I put little guy to bed last night, I spent a little while loading rifle magazines, function checking firearms, and totting up my ammunition supply. That last item being “not bad“, but not quite where I would like it to be. Anyway. 2020, man.

NPR refer to George Floyd as, yes, a “gentle giant“; completely forgot to mention that he served five years for armed robbery in a home invasion, referring to this briefly as only him having “gotten in trouble with the law“
AG Barr is on right now talking about the Floyd investigation. He stated that outside agitators and organizations have been driving the violence at the protests, and he reminded listeners that crossing state lines to commit violence is a federal offense. I can't recall an AG ever making such a blunt statement about left-wing violence.

Also, a spokesperson for the Atlanta PD stated that three-quarters of the people they arrested are not from around here. I'm not sure if they mean out of state, outside Metro Atlanta, or some other criteria. They didn't say how many were arrested, either.
Kudos to Governor Kemp - unlike the governor of Minnesota, he called out the National Guard around 11:30 on the first night of rioting.

In Boston, it stayed at the protest level. 10 arrests, tear gas, no burning or looting.
I wonder if it is because they don't want to make our black police commissioner look bad. He is a good cop, though, and appears to want blacks to have safe neighborhoods, not release the hoods.
