Well, first day of school is over. Poor teacher looked exhausted when I picked up the Squire. He's finally managed to calm down after having an hour long fit. He seemed to be enjoying himself when I picked him up. No major issues when we dropped him off at the school and escorted him into his class. Will see how things go further into the month.

Next week dive back into the sources to get going on chapter 7 -- only about 3000 pages of manuscript to plow through.

Reply to doppelganglander in 13: Actually I meant chapter 6 -- getting ahead of myself. I would like to have the manuscript done by the end of the year, though February is probably more likely. Regardless, if I don't finish it now it'll never be written.

So during the night a limb appears to have come down. It knocked the hose from the pump off the filter and drained (nearly) the pond. I'm trying to refill it and hoping all my fish aren't dead. And it looks like the pump burned out. I am really sick of goddamned fucking bullshit.
