Eldest daughter is visiting for the weekend. She made me watch Chuck Todd interview John Brennan on Meet the Press. She has no regard for my blood pressure.

It looks like they are going to really try to roll out another “whistle blower”, this time, one with first hand knowledge of the call, ....you know, the one the released the transcript of,...

it is like they have a playbook, they have run the play, their quarterback got sacked, but they are still running downfield with arms up to catch the pass.

Started the (free) Hillsdale course in WWII, taught by Victor David Hanson.

First lecture is by the president of Hillsdale, and largely an overview, but has some good comments on totalitarianism.

Some observations of mine:

We hear of how the Nazis and Soviets were teaching children propaganda - we see the same thing about "climate change" today

Marx: Religion is the opiate of the masses

Kosh: Communism and socialism are the fentanyl of the masses

(Actually, any form of totalitarianism, including "climate change" totalitarianism. Vast numbers of people have to die for the cause)

i wonder if this “first hand source” whistle blower was the source for the first whistle blower that only had second hand info on the call.

Are the whistle blower protections being used here to protect the first hand source from being prosecuted for leaking?

Releasing the call transcript has really put the Democrats in a box.

I note the exceptions are from Massachusetts, where the "Republicans" don't even make it to RINO

A former colleague used to refer to where we worked as "Chinatown."  Myself, I generally called it "Maggie's Farm."

In #8 lucius septimius said: Myself, I generally called it "Maggie's Farm."

Which calls for this jukebox.

The Patriots are going to get in trouble. A few weeks ago, they slaughtered Dolphins; this week, they massacred Redskins.

Precisely.  It's one of the few Dylan songs I actually like.

I used to enjoy Rush Limbaugh's environmentalist wacko football predictions.
