Louisville is gonna be lit in more ways than one. Only one officer charged and Breonna's death is ruled an accident so no charges there. Contrary to popular belief,  it was not a no-knock warrant and the boyfriend was pointing a gun at the officers when they entered.

Coming from a grand jury, I'm inclined to believe it.

They indicted one cop for endangerment because his shots went into another apartment.

But the cops were shot at first.

However, I'd fire the person who does marksmanship training for the force. They're about as good as the myrmidons of evil overlords.

From my typical hearings, even from police officers, most police only go to the range on the government dime alone at least once a year. Maybe twice. So there's really very little training on their own time with their service firearms.

in this case, assuming this was a tactical team of some sort tasked with serving high risk warrants, among other things, one would hope they got a little more range time than that.

And additional training in marksmanship and handling difficult situations is one type of police reform I would strongly support. Yes, that would take more money, but it would be better spent than payment to the family of some thug.
