Meanwhile, Stephen Kruiser is listing the questions he'd like to see a debate moderator put to Biden, and I think the best one is, "Vice President, do you know what day it is?"

Let's reimagine policing!
|
Portland sees more burglary calls, slower response times as officers decline Data from the Portland Police Bureau shows these cases aren’t a one-off. In the first 5 months of the year, officers got to burglary calls, on average, in 36 minutes. From June to September while the city experienced ongoing demonstrations, the time nearly tripled to 90 minutes. The Portland Police Bureau provided the following statement to slow response times.Regarding response times, there are a lot of factors to consider. What is happening City-wide and within the precincts and how many officers are available at any given time is important. Also, if it is a call involving an imminent life safety risk versus a “cold” call where the crime already occurred and there is not an identified current public safety risk. PPB responds to calls as quickly as we are able with the resources we have. It is false to assume PPB is not responding and in fact, we have even recently captured a burglar in the act. We recognize our local businesses are struggling enough with COVID and all of the other challenges 2020 has brought and being the victim of a burglary is an additional stressor we do not want any of our business community members to experience. Recently released information from the city showed at least 70 officers from Patrol Officers to Captains have left the department this year with the city is stuck in a hiring freeze amid the pandemic.
Wow totally did not see that coming!

Hunter Biden email confirmed as genuine, and that Joe Biden knew about the deals Tony Bobulinski, who was listed as the recipient of an email published by the New York Post that appeared to detail a business arrangement involving a Chinese company and members of the Biden family, has confirmed that the email is "genuine" and provided more information regarding the Bidens' role in the deal. The email includes a note that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.” A proposed equity split references “20” for “H” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” with no further details. "The reference to 'the Big Guy' in the much publicized May 13, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden," Bobulinski said in a statement to Fox News. Bobulinski said he is the CEO of Sinohawk Holdings, which he explained "was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC/Chairman Ye and the Biden family." He said he was brought on as CEO by Hunter Biden and James Gilliar, who was listed as the sender of the email. Bobulinski went on to say he does not believe Joe Biden's past claim that he and Hunter did not discuss his son Hunter's business, claiming that Hunter "frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals." So now that this has been confirmed, Twitter will unblock it, right?//////////// So, will the Democrats keep Biden as the figurehead until after the election and then decide he is incapable of fulfilling the office, and remove him, or remove him as a candidate before the election? I think they'll wait.

Heh. No. To elaborate; I was sitting in a public space eating my lunch. He pulled up, and said "put a mask on! Or get the hell out of here! My wife is coming out of that building! [pointing to a doorway that's easily 15 feet from where I'm sitting] I replied: "That's not a very nice thing to say to people. If I were you, I wouldn't say that again." And that was that. His wife then appeared, she got in the vehicle, he angrily put it in reverse, and nearly hit the car behind him. Quite a guy, that Karen.

I have seen nothing in the US media; only the Jerusalem Post Link to latest It is an area left as part of Azerbaijan that has a lot of Armenians. They started fighting about it recently, after about 25 years. I think Turkey is egging them on (and turkey eggs are large). Israel is caught in the middle, as usual.
