For those who were not at the pub, please keep BabbaZee's BF in your prayers. I'll copy and paste her email in the Frontier. Note she won't see replies there since she forgot her password and doesn't have the time to reset it at the moment, but I put details there for privacy.

Kosh, thanks for sharing that. That does sound serious. Many prayers for BZ and her boyfriend; may they be held close by God.

The Charge of the Light Worker ---apologies to Alfred, Lord Tennyson, and "The Charge of the Light Brigade" Half a bill, half a bill, Hundreds of billions, To the fiscal cliff of Debt--- Now sixteen trillion. "Forward!" Light Worker said, "Charge what we want!" he said On the fiscal cliff of Debt, Now sixteen trillion. "Forward!" Light Worker said "Though we're deeply in the red, I'm doing what I said When I thrilled millions: The Treasury my "stash," Green energy plans rash, Billions in crony cash, Off the fiscal cliff of Debt, Now sixteen trillion." "Regulate industry, Depress the economy, Create false scarcity, Cut back oil drilling. Let entitlements swell; Make our defense a shell; Into the jaws of Debt--- How great? no one can tell--- Now sixteen trillion." Flush'd down fed'ral programs, Flush'd down his healthcare scam, Threat'ning with the taxman Any who would protest His road to ruin. Heedless and unafraid, The press acting to aid Dissimulation His plans had long been laid The land to do in; The bill came back much more Than sixteen trillion. "Regulate industry, Depress the economy, Create false scarcity, Cut back oil drilling. Let entitlements swell---" That's how a nation fell, Freedoms tossed down a well, Into a maw of Debt How great, no one can tell All we know is that it's Now sixteen trillion. Would we were as we were Ere half the land preferred Public trough swilling. What a profound error To let the Light Worker Squander our trillions!

Packing, cleaning, washing ... hopefully I can get on the road in an hour or so. My bizarre vacation is (mostly) at an end.

And we've been told at work (again) that only essential people should be at work only for essential tasks that cannot be done remotely. Sigh. This has become incredibly stupid and unscientific. I listened to a podcast with Mark Rippletoe and William Briggs, the latter who has cowritten a book with two other contributors about the stupidity of the way the public health groups have managed the SARS-COV-2 virus.

In #17 Kosh's Shadow said: I wonder what we are not being told, based on the extent where I work has gone for COVID control Other countries are basing their reactions on what the US is doing, and the thinking all along has been exactly this: what aren't they telling us? That seems like a really shabby way to make decisions. However, if it really were that bad, then why are liberals in government positions still allowing protests and celebrations for Biden? Lori Lightfoot, Mayor of Chicago, said folks should be at home--and she promptly flew to Delaware with a delegation to attend Biden's announcement party. That doesn't make any sense at all if there really is something that they aren't telling us. While yes, we know the elderly are susceptible, and those who are younger might have really bad symptoms, we have a much better idea how to treat this virus than we did back in the spring. The number of people who have died from this has dropped a lot, and the so called "cases" are being called cases, but seem to only be positive test results from a PCR test that is way, WAY too sensitive. Briggs talked about that in the podcast. This is starting to remind me that sometimes the emperor doesn't really have any new clothes but is butt naked.

Talk about epic timing: Sundance has posted a new article on exactly this issue--why is COVID-19 being hyped when it isn't that serious? COVID-19 is the Agenda--Biden is the Delivery Vehicle. Reading it, it sounds like a rabid conspiracy theory. Except Sundance has been spot on with his research on the Russia Collusion allegations, the elections, and just about everything else I've read from him. Don't just ignore this because it sounds far-fetched.

Reply to vxbush in 20: Sounds like rabid conspiracy theory. However the COVID response to date has been irrational, unscientific and fraught with proven fraudulent numbers to bolster the response. Add in the election debacle. You've got the stuff of a dystopian novel... in real life.
