I haven't watched SNL for years (for one thing, I haven't had a TV---and if I did, I wouldn't watch SNL anyway). But I stumbled across this sketch this morning. It's a pretty stupid sketch---but it appears to suggest that at least a few people even in Proggieville are a little skeptical about the Great Doc-tator and his Faucist prescriptions for the country.

Good morning.
BBC: Human sacrifice is pretty groovy (when done by non-western cultures*), because it “makes people sacred”, or something:

* Or, I suppose, Planned Parenthood, etc.

Nice. We know very well what they were: captives who were then sacrificed. The bodies were turned over to the family of the warrior who had taken the captive and would then be eaten.

And a breath of fresh air... Seattle being called out. Powerful journalism, the first 10 minutes is almost more than I can stomach. It’s just sickening to me to see Seattle, a once beautiful and fun city, reduced to ruin at the hands of progressives. I really had no idea how bad the situation there really is before watching this, shit hole doesn’t begin to describe it. I really feel for you JCM, it must be heartbreaking.

You can tell Erik is torn up about this. He loves the City, and cares about the people, the homeless and addicted.

It is not just Seattle. The application is much broader.

Reply to JCM in 12: I think certain members of Seattle city council, in particular, need to be given A sweeping overview of what is happening to the city. Perhaps taking them up for a helicopter ride would do the trick. If you know what I mean.

Reply to JCM in 12: Thanks for sharing that, I watched the whole thing. Los Angeles will likely be the third western city to go that route. It's heartbreaking.
