Feeling pretty good, given that I didn't get anything like drunk last night.  I woke up at 5, saw it was 16 degrees, and got back under the blankets.

Nothing good happens at 5 AM, other than getting back under blankets. Good move.

Went to bed around 12:30 and was up at 7:30... Not hung over so that's a good thing. Wife is starting to stir I think, she was in bed by 11pm, so that's about normal. I hope to the good powers above that this year is far better then last year.

Being that I'm currently on central time, though, 5 AM here is my usual wake-up time.

Joe Biden, who is SUPER cognitively okay, refers to “President-elect Harris”:

Biden team disables chat function on virtual press briefings, so as not to have to answer difficult questions from non-regime-supporting press; such as questions about Joe’s son, Uday Biden (or is he Qusay?):

Another "police shooting" in Minneapolis, in which an unarmed black man started unarmedly shooting at cops.

And the rioting has already begun, of course.

The dearly-departed's name is Dolal Idd.

Remember "Tom Swifties"?  I've got one:

That was always the plan. He's forgetting he's not supposed to talk about it.

I had thought they'd give him 3-6 months, maybe a year; probably more like 1-3 now, with 6 at the most.

They might use the 25th amendment, or might get him to resign over Usay Biden. They probably do have dirt connecting Joe and Usay.

Being an oft-declared Catholic, Biden will give up the presidency for Fraudu-Lent.

"Uday".    As in, "Uday is the first day of the rest of your life...".

That may be so, but I still find it an odd strategy (if it's indeed a strategy).  It just seems like going down that path would "damage the brand" for the Democrats, to become "the party whose POTUS had to be removed due to senility".  But then again, maybe they're so confident now of their ability to steal elections, they just don't care.

Only approved candidates will get to run. The MSM will make sure of that. I think the only reason Trump won 4 years ago was that they didn't think he would, so they didn't work as hard to suppress him.

With social media today, there will be so much made up dirt on any candidate that threatens their rule that he'll have to hide to keep the mobs away.

Which reminds me about all those upset Gal Gadot will play Cleopatra (and not because "no one can replace Liz Taylor").

No, Gal is Israeli and Cleopatra was Egyptian, so should be played by a brown-skinned actress. Except Cleopatra was part of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and they came from Greece (Macedonia, actually). But who cares about history.

So actually, the part of Cleopatra should be played by Olympia Dukakis

A secret report, suppressed by US defence chiefs and obtained by The Observer, warns that major European cities will be sunk beneath rising seas as Britain is plunged into a ‘Siberian’ climate by 2020. Nuclear conflict, mega-droughts, famine and widespread rioting will erupt across the world.”

Well, they were partly right about the rioting, anyway.

Events which are mutually exclusive.

Just add it to the long list of climate doom which never happened.

Heck I still looking for one prediction from the climate doom crowd which has occured.

I don't watch television very often -- really, the only time I do is during college football season, and this year that has been rather limited.

I have noticed, though, a significant shift in advertising.  Is their a couple in an ad?  Either their are BIPOC or mixed-race.  I haven't seen a single ad all day with a white couple.  Moreover, the number of white men in ads is miniscule, unless they are the butt of the joke. Based on what I've seen, if these ads are supposed to "look like America," than the population of the US is 75% black, 12% Indian, 8% Latino, 3% Asian, and 2% White.

Something else -- if Elvis singing "Hound Dog" was (as my son was taught in college) "cultural appropriation," why is a black artist singing the Beatles not the same?

For the ads,  I notice the same on Android apps - a lot of blacks in the ads.

For cultural appropriation, Hamilton has white guys played by POC - isn't THAT cultural appropriation?
