Good morning. So apparently WhatsApp is going to start requiring users to allow sharing of data with Facebook, whether you like it or not. Here is an article with some alternatives to WhatsApp:

When WhatsApp was purchased by FB, it was fairly obvious where this was going to go.

The Democrats---always nostalgic for FDR---are really doing their level best to recreate the Great Depression, aren't they?  I wonder if they'll then help to foment another world war to get us out of it.

You have to admit, his televised fireside chats were amazing.

And this morning, I have the theme music from “the third man“ running through my head. I’m not sure why.

Maybe you saw that video floating around by Michael Yon, who was at the Capitol incursion, reporting on the events?

It would make sense, since so many things are zither and Yon.

Morning Sedition today referred to Martin Luther King as a "fighter for human rights," not "civil rights."  The phony conflation of the two is in full gallop mode.

They also had a lengthy feature detailing how Trump, while not literally Hitler, was literally a fascist in that he used terms and phrases that Hitler had also used.

Here's the clip from Morning Sedition.  Keep in mind that your tax dollars help pay for this.

The Left engages in the same puerile exercise with every Republican president.

I recall during the 2016 election cycle, a liberal acquaintance emailing me to say that Trump’s use of the phrase “take our country back“ was racist and fascist. It took me all of 15 seconds searching online to be able to send her back examples of Hillary Clinton saying “take our country back“.

I did see that video, and as I commented here, it looks like Michael has put on some weight. He should take care of that, lest he acquire the nickname “Round Yon: Virgin”.

Credibly accused, I'd say. In fact, they should lose custody just for naming the kid Zoomer.

Mother accused of child abuse for letting child pick their own gender

Well, you jump down, spin around, name your kiddie Zoomer

Well, you jump down, spin around, let it choose its sex

Who cares if the child's confused?

To be a parent you refuse

Jump down, spin around, name your kiddie Zoomer

How do you even begin to have a rational discussion with such people?

There is no common basis to even begin. They don't accept basic scientific definition of sex.

There mind is made up, don't confuse them with nucleic acid sequences, or biochemistry of gene expression.

Could show them how DNA is read, translated into enzymes which produce proteins and hormones, which dictate sex. She totally rejects all that for a nebulous "feeling" as being determinate.

You can see it her response, criticism of her is a personal attack because how she feels is being criticized. Her being wrong is irrelevant.

From Glenn to Glenda, you must change your side

For we must heed the "social justice" squalling

Though we'll pretend that we let you decide.

As I saw someone post at Instapundit some time ago:

A "transgender toddler" is like a vegan cat.

We all know who is really making the "lifestyle choice".

It violates the prime directive of raising children. A child needs stability. If he can't be sure of something as fundamental as his own body, how can he possibly get through life? Everything is up for debate and subject to change on a daily basis. He can never feel secure in his own person or set boundaries around his bodily integrity. IMO that leaves him wide open to victimization by sexual predators. If he's been taught to ignore his own body's signals, how can he distinguish between good touches and bad touches?

Form of anarchy.

The "rules" are what every you "feel" they are.

I remember situational ethics from many moons ago, which was bad enough. Not it's not even based on an external situation. It's based on "feelings".

That is path that is so frightening.
