Make sure the entire URL is copied, and if the URL starts with http, not https, most browsers will not add it to this blog because this site does use https. You can try changing it to https, but if there is no secure version of the image, it won't show up. This is a security restriction on most browsers, to prevent a malicious page from somewhere else getting access to a secure site. Any insecure content is blocked.

Background. Last March WA Employment Security Dept. (ESD) lost $1 Billion. The excuse was the "Nigerian scammers" A report on a local radio show, I can link the podcast when it is posted. The person in charge at ESD was a Democrat bundler, and was a former Microsoft Security executive. What we know is that at the beginning of March they turned off security protections on ESD systems, lost the money, then at the end of March turned them back on. The theft was not reported until May. Two reporters filed FOIA requests, ESD has not responded, a WA Court has ruled they are in violation.

Makes one wonder where the money went. If someone stole the money, I would assume someone else would track this down--but only if they were absolutely pure of heart (forgive me, but this seems unlikely for those Democrats who get such positions)--or this money was being used to pay several people with bribes. I'm guessing everyone who who put this person into this job or was up the employment chain from this person got paid off some amount given the complete lack of transparency or investigation.

I wonder if something got changed on your phone to store images in HEIC and uploading doesn't work

My analysis of the Game Stop stock trading: You know those stock pumping scams where spam emails and ads tell you to buy a stock so the people who own it can sell it and make a lot? This is a crowdsourced version. At the end. a lot of people will be stuck with stock that was pumped up when it goes down to what it is really worth.
