Reply to lucius septimius in 2: Nice one---and I've never heard it before. When I saw you give Swalwell the "Limehouse" nic I thought you were going to do either "Limehouse Blues" or "Half-Caste Woman."

[WA] State funneled federal COVID relief to radical political groups, all based on race The Washington State Department of Commerce gave federal COVID relief tax dollars to nonprofits pursuing radical political agendas. Tax dollars even went to indirectly bail criminals out of jail. The selection process for funding was based on race. And some of the vetting seems influenced more by ideology than by need. The Department of Commerce, led by Lisa Brown, aimed to “distribute COVID relief funds equitably to the communities hardest hit by the pandemic.” But to qualify to the Washington Equity Relief Fund, a group of “reviewers” made sure the nonprofits were “led by and serving Black, Indigenous and people of color.”

Yes; I guess he wants to be with the Biden administration plan of turning away from allies like Israel and (sort of ally; better with MBS) Saudi Arabia, and suck up to the death to the US Iran/ (Just go to google translate and copy and paste)

Reply to JCM in 12: Should have used Chinese as this is the Chinese New Year (now renamed Lunar New Year, as other Asian countries use the same calendar)

Bill would end driver's license suspensions over unpaid fines BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) — Lawmakers in Washington state have proposed a measure that would prevent a driver’s license from being suspended if a person cannot pay or respond to a traffic ticket. The measure sponsored by Democratic state Sen. Emily Randall would eliminate suspended licenses for those who are unable to pay off their traffic infractions, the Kitsap Sun reported Monday. So dangerous driver just has to claim to be indigent to avoid a license suspension. So much for equal application of law.
