Morning, campers. Work closed at noon Monday and closed all day Tuesday, so I just relaxed, big time. It was a nice break. Back on me head today.

Looking for a laugh? Here's NPR's Morning Sedition blaming the Texas outages on "climate change," defending the "green energy" section of the grid as having "outperformed" the traditional portions, etc. You've gotta hear this! Wow. So rolling brownouts are outperforming, just like in California, huh?

Since Separation of Powers is a thing of the past, and each branch can do whatever the hell the please...... We really, really are Post Constitutional. It gets paid lip service only.

A little sanity.... Mercer Island City Council votes to ban homeless camping within city limitsMercer Island City Council members voted Tuesday night to adopt an ordinance that expands a ban on homeless camping, extending it from parks to cover all public property in the city. The council voted to pass the ordinance with a 6-1 vote. The proposal has raised questions about why the panel is considering such legislation in an area that is home to some of the most expensive homes in Washington state.

Yes, we absolutely must be more sensitive to the Chinese Communist cultural norm of committing genocide.

In #10 JCM said: While speaking on the genocide on Uighurs on Tuesday Biden said: "Culturally there are different norms in each country and their leaders are expected to follow." This is the same kind of excuse people made for Nazi Germany (and the Uighurs being herded onto trains is the closest we have of the concentration camp images in today's news) (Been reading IBM and the Holocaust, and this is the kind of thing Watson said, although he said it about governments, not culture)

I first heard Rush way back in his Sacramento days.I was driving down I-5, scanning the radio for something interesting.... I pause on this talk show, after a bit I started thinking.... this guy thinks like me! Then he took a caller..... and did a caller abortion.... I damn nearly drove off the road laughing my ass off. One of the first stations in the country to go talk was Seattle KVI 570 and they had Rush. Rush helped keep me sane living in Seattle.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 24: What was really funny he would say, "Okay the next thing I'm going to say will drive the left insane" He would explain why then say it.... the next day the left would be in an uproar. Even when he said he was baiting them... they would take the bait.

I think it's time to revive an old idea. If we could start "Quizzlings," the political version of the "Hollywood Squares," as a TV show, we could, in the words of Sydney Greenstreet in Casablanca, "make a fortune!"
