If that's their plan, they should probably stop aborting a third of their children. They also seem to think POC, i.e. Latinos, will unite with them against Whitey. I can't imagine large numbers of Latinos embracing an ideology that substitutes the state for the family. Hell, I don't think most African-Americans do, but many are willing to support almost anything if it comes from black leaders.

Reply to @PBJ3 in 45: What they did in Seattle to "lower" crime rates is instead of using reports of crime to track it, they use charging documents. Since they don't charge misdemeanors and many non-violent felonies those don't count in the crime reporting anymore.

For example, if a convicted felon commits a gun crime, being a felon in possession of a firearm is an enhancement that, if charged along with homicide, might add several years to sentencing guidelines. Gascon won't pursue the gun charge, thereby reducing the possible sentence. From what I understand, he also undercharges and releases dangerous suspects without bond. It must be incredibly frustrating for victims, families, and police. I think there's a recall petition going around.

Reminds me when I was in the Explorers and we had road rallies, driving in the adult's red old Beetle - in the summer, with the heat blasting out because those old ones had no way to turn the heat off, as it was part of the cooling system. I did pretty well as navigator.
