Good news, everyone! It’s Saturday!

Thinking of the sign from last night's pub, it would be a different matter had the "Queen's Head" belonged to Anne Boleyn rather than Victoria.

In Futurama, that's how Professor Farnsworth would tell everyone about some new mission, especially if it was a really dangerous one.

I think that would have raised tensions to the Boleyn point.

So the photo illustrating our thread brings me to one of my first world problem rants; the near and possibility of finding a classic eggs Benedict served at a restaurant anywhere around where I live. Everybody wants to jazz that dish up too much, and it does not need jazzing up.

So what you are saying, they are traitors to the dish; Eggs Benedict Arnold

come to think of it, ironically, if they used good old Arnold’s English muffins as a base for the dish, they’d be faithful, rather than traitors.

I was going to make a joke about what they did with chopped off heads; that they played a medieval game involving sending the head down a wooden lane to knock down pins - as in Boleyn pins, but I figured I'd spare you frim having to go on strike.

The rod is deep and wide. And as for the question asked in the title of this piece, let us fervently hope it is the latter:

The sketch seems to be unavailable, but Monty Python did parody of suburban sitcoms, "The Attila the Hun Show" with a sappy theme and a laugh track.

Attila returns home; his wife asks how the day went "Just another merciless sack of Western Europe", and he takes out something for his little kids - a severed head. "I just wanted you kids to get ahead!" (cue the laugh track)

(I think the sketch is probably banned because Attila has a butler, played by Eric Idle in blackface)

A very informative video about the robustness of ammunition. Good information to have in general.

In mine, too. They can't cancel DVDs you own. Same with books. At least until the Fahrenheit 451 world.

I forgot about the seder
Seemed a long time to come
How could I forget Pesach shopping
Forgot we are the chosen ones
I let it slip from my mind, honey

I went and walked on by
The kosher market ready for me
I forgot to go inside and resupply
The matzah got lost
The matzah got lost
The matzah got lost
Somewhere down the line

Hopefully we won’t mar’or or otherwise disfigure this thread with further Passover food puns.

Sorry, but I still need to write the song from My Favorite Shiksa, "I'm Getting Maror'ed in the Evening"
