20 attorneys general sue Biden over school & work transgender, LGBTQ issues

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCIV) — South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson, along with 19 other state attorneys general, Monday filed a lawsuit seeking to stop the Biden Administration from enforcing guidance on school and work transgender issues, guidance which they say threatens women's sports and student and employee privacy.

Lead by Tennessee Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III, the lawsuit challenges federal guidance issued by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Education regarding whether to allow biological males to compete on girls' sports teams, whether employers and schools may have sex-separated showers and locker rooms, and whether individuals may use another person's preferred pronouns.

I have received one of these spam calls every day for a week. 2 within 5 minutes today. They come to my cell phone, blocked as spam, but they get to leave a message:

"This is Charlene from the student servicing department, about the unpaid balance on your student loan. The federal deferment program is ending soon so you must call us right away at...."

2 in 5 minutes? Reported them to the FTC.

BTW, my student loans were paid off more than 20 years ago.

How do you do that?  I've been inundated with them as well.  Looks like whatever that supposed anti-spam measure that was supposed to kick in not long ago was, it didn't work.

Go to ftc.gov and click on file a complaint. You have to fill out a form.

I hope, too, but I'd settle for them to disable the spammers phone service without indicating it. No incoming calls; outgoing ones appear to work but go to the FTC, then they charge them $500/call

The new protocols worked for something like 2 weeks before the spammers found a way around them. For the landline, I have the printer pick it up as a fax call. That seems to stop them after a couple of tries.

Plus, Google cell phones have an "assistant" to screen calls. When a call comes in, you can tap to screen it. The display shows what the phone says (The person you called is using a google assistant to screen calls. Please leave your name, number, and reason for the call"

Then it does speech rec should the other end say anything, so you can get an idea of the call and either pick it up, hang up, report as spam. Most calls do not leave a message.
