Just claim that you are a victim of <<insert group here>> supremacy, and all will be forgiven.

Don't think I haven't thought of that.

Still, not looking forward to the drive through the Long Dark (and flat) of Illinois as I go home to deal with the aftermath of mom's passing.

I'm sorry; I know dealing with family in this situations is always awful.

Well, then, you should plan on creeping in somewhere, on little cat feet.

Lucius, I so sorry for your loss.  I remember the world feeling like an entirely different place when my mother left it.  She didn't have much of an effect on the whole world, but she certainly did on mine.  My you find comfort in your memories.

A small request; perhaps we could have an Autumn Frontier thread?  (We skipped Summer entirely.)

Good news, comrades!  The turkey ration has been increased from 200 grammes, to 150 grammes.

And remember, Big Brandon is watching.

So CA caused the supply issues with AB-5 mandating new trucks and electric trucks (which don't exist). Truckers who can't afford new trucks, and fleets who can't buy an unicorn are denied port access to move shipping containers.

CA has a solution!

Fine the shipping companies when containers sit in the port for too long!

Gotta love that WaPo headline: The problems are "resisting Biden's remedies".

Why, it's an insurrection

His imaginary remedies, which apparently involve words and no actions. Yup, that sounds about right.

Well, it will have the effect of cutting the backlog in CA ports - ships will go elsewhere.

The already are, coming up to Portland, Tacoma and Seattle, Vancouver and Victoria.. The influx of ships exceeds capacity so those ports are also backlogged.

Most to the Pacific freighters, Asia to West Coast, are "Post PanaMax" meaning the things won't fit through the Panama Canal, so Gulf Coast Ports are out of the question.

There is another good one, Rep. Stuebe asks the AG if the Climate Protesters breaking into the Interior Dept. is Domestic Terrorism.

AG hadn't heard about a Federal Building in DC being breached.

Then refused to label those protestors domestic terrorists......

To the Dems, Republicans and anyone else who won't follow government orders is a "domestic terrorist".
