I see that Stephen Sondheim passed away yesterday. Never a huge fan of his work, to be honest, but no question that the man changed the musical and, arguably, saved it from certain death.

Pet peeve: Passengers on Amtrak who open the overhead bins, get their bags, depart… and leave the bin doors open, for other people to either have to duck, or close. There’s a certain fundamental narcissism at work.
