---US government I'm behind on the news. I saw that the Eleventh Circuit, which sits over Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, upheld Judge Casey Rodgers’ denial of Florida’s request for an injunction against the CMS Mandate in a two-to-one decision. But that's covering specific states, of which I think over 20 are now not required to get the jabs. And...good morning, buzz.

KKK Disbands as Progressive Left Accomplishing all their Goals “Welp, I guess it’s both good news and bad news,” said current CEO of the KKK, Bob U. Genics while overseeing Klan members turning in their robes and pointed hats. “Them Lefties cornered the racism market for sure, and look at how they undermined minority communities through low school standards, drug legalization, and rampant decriminalization. Impressive.”

New York City takes another several steps towards self-destruction. The first, and biggest, is its just passing laws that forbid using gas for heat, hot water, or cooking in all new-building construction; gotta be all electric, you know, because of that ol' carbon footprint. There is apparently a substantial minority clamoring to have this nonsense extended to include remodeling/renovations of older housing stock also. In addition, there are apparently plans to level several-score historic buildings in the lower-Midtown area, somewhere around Penn Station, to build newer, bigger buildings---with, of course, a nod towards "affordable housing," one of the most transparent and asinine scams of modern urban removal.

Reply to buzzsawmonkey in 10: Using electricity for heating will INCREASE CO2 emissions. Natural gas heat is 90-98% efficient; the best fossil fuel plants are 45% efficient, so if all the electricity is generated from natural gas, emission will increase by a factor of 2. Half the electricity would have to come from non-emitting sources to break even.

I am so sorry to hear that. My opinion of the boosters is no better than the vaccines, and I've found another presentation that documents some of the poor statistical choices Pfizer made in its application.

Howdy. So, just out of morbid interest, while driving back from the carwash I clicked on my local NPR affiliate, WAMU. Local talking head: "So, what's on tap for this weekend - how about you, Bob?" [may not have been the actual name] Other talking head: 'Well, I'm planning to get to these two, black-owned holiday markets this weekend..."
You know, when I think about picking a holiday market to visit, I think about things like: -Does the market offer attractive goods, that I might be interested in buying? -Are the prices reasonable? - Is it a pleasant atmosphere? Maybe with some nice food and drink on offer for me to enjoy while shopping? -Is it reasonably convenient for me to get there? -Is there easy parking? Here's a question that does not occur to me: -What is the skin color of the people who own this market?

The spike comes after the little ice age. They talk climate change, but don't look at the proper scale for climate change. I mean, it's going to be 20° warmer this afternoon than this morning, next June will be 40° warmer. They never, ever use a reasonable scale for the climate.

Seattle getting tough on crime! Seattle police detain nearly three dozen suspects in organized retail theft operation According to officials, the officers personally viewed the suspects walk into the store and brazenly walk out with pricey merchandise. Police said the investigating officers stopped the suspects, recovered the items and issued a trespass notice, which prohibits the person from returning to the store for a year. The suspects were then released from the scene although one man was booked into the King County on an outstanding warrant. That'll show 'em! Take their stolen stuff!
