Boxing Day is a holiday traditionally celebrated the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradespeople would receive gifts, known as a "Christmas box", from their bosses or employers.

Good morning. As things worked out, we’re basically doing Boxing Day here.  Little OR kept putting off gift-opening yesterday, then wanted to start that process at 9:40 pm.  I let him open *one*, then explained about Boxing Day.

Woke up to 6" of white fluffy global warming.

Dogs are out in it now loving it.

Wow, that lady's staff of servants is quite a diversified work force, isn't it?  Although I think I do see a few in that group that could've been former guys.

We have had ice since Friday night. Melting today, but slushy and slippery.

We had some standard poodles who loved snow - they'd run around in snow up to their bellies. But if it was raining hard, we'd have to push them out the door to do their business.

Need any funds, I can send some your way to defray the cost.

I'd rather not have any payments to me. Thanks.

I remember when you used to be able to send "cash" in the mail and didn't have to worry about it arriving at its destiny.  Boy, am I old or what?

And note this blog is hardly an expensive operation. Hosting plus domain name is still in the $100-200/year range

And you are probably old enough (like me) to remember when a couple of hundred was a lot.

Truth be told, it still kind of is to me.  Yeah, but the days of nickel candy bars and dime sodas are far gone.

One thing that would help is if I could add someone here to the hosting account.

Yes, that would enable you to pay, but it also means should I be unable to renew the account, you could.

Anyone interested say so here or in the Frontier, and I will add you and give you login information.
