I was listening to NPR's "On The Media" program this morning.  They were interviewing other media folks about "how to deal with political or media figures who espouse the Big Lie," i.e., those who believe that the 2020 election was rife with irregularities, if not outright stolen. 

As I've said before, NPR---if you can stand it---is important to listen to (at least now and then) because it says the quiet part out loud; the proggies brag there openly about what they're doing even as they deny it elsewhere.  In this case, the discussion of how to "combat" (suppress) "misinformation" is both fascinating and chilling.

In unrelated news: I was thinking earlier about the contrast and behavior of between that brave Texas rabbi who effectively stopped that hostage situation by throwing a chair; and the cowardly “men“ present for the “Montreal massacre“, who obediently filed out of the room when told to do so by the gunman, leaving him to murder the women.

Be like the Texas rabbi.  Be like Todd Beamer and his cohort.  Be like the guys who rushed and tackled LIRR shooter Colin Ferguson.
