Good morning, campers. What odds do we lay that CNN will fail as a company by the end of the year? CNN+ has been nothing but a sinkhole for money. This makes me wonder what other news (cough) organizations are also on the ropes but we aren't hearing about it yet. The NYT just changed executive editors, and the new editor "urged his colleagues 'to produce the most ambitious, consequential and creative work of our careers.' " Based on past evidence, "creative" = "lies."

In some Marxist histories it was taken to represent the nascent proletariat. Thought I doubt the folks using it now are educated enough to know that usage.

Reply to doppelganglander in 9: Notice also the left is about process, not solution. Everything they design is a perpetual process without a solution or objective goals. With the process they justify bureaucracies, budgets, and everything that goes with it. If they ever actually solve something, the process and attended power goes away.
