Clearly OR is not a professional blogger.

Morning, campers.

So, I haven't looked, but I assume the hysterical Progs are breaking out the "Handmaid" costumes again?

It's kind of a fetish with them.

It's very simply:  if we don't allow "abortion" up to 28 days after birth, all women are handmaids.  The End.

My office is a ghost town today. It's delightful.

Meanwhile; Little OR continues to be fever-free, full of energy, no symptoms other than the tiniest bit of postnasal drip; but still home-tests Covid-positive (not surprising).

And I feel run down, had annoying postnasal drip that kept me awake until 2 am, no fever, an ambiguous-but-probably-weakly positive home test a couple hours ago; no fever.   So, I'm likely Covidian, if only relatively mildly so.

COVID tests can show positive for a while after a case. Where I worked, people who had a case were exempt from testing for I believe a month.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 6:  I was wondering how you were doing.  Glad to hear it's not more serious.  Hope things continue smoothly.  At least now you've got natural immunities.  Most likely don't have to worry about getting it in the future.  Glass half full type of thing; you know me, always looking for the bright side of a situation.

Got a LinkedIn request for a job that sounds like I'd fit well - bit the person's name sounds Russian, education was in a Russian sounding university, so I looked the company up - it is based in Belarus. I think I'll pass.

For once, I'd like an original thought from the protesters, but yet again they let me down.

Hey, hey! Ho, ho!
[Insertname] has got to go!

The Left has been using this same dreary chant for over half a century.
What dullards.

Shouldn't conservatives fight back against the pro-abortion agitation by mounting a ceremony for the presenting of the Gosnell Awards?  Something to remind people that "legalized abortion" didn't take abortion out of "the back alley"---it merely put the back alley on Main Street.

The other thing that might be interesting is if some people put together a traveling art show on the theme of "The Slaughter of the Innocents" in the New Testament, and/or the killing of the Israelite children under Pharaoh's orders prior to the Exodus.  This would be especially interesting if the show were mounted as a contest, with a prize of, say, $10,000.  Ten thousand is not that much for a wealthy donor to put up, but it is certainly worth competing for---and it would be fascinating to see a bunch of Left-leaning artists falling all over themselves to grab the prize.

Out running errands this more sited a food truck with this logo on it.

Does anyone one else have a visceral, negative reaction to this type of iconography?
