You knew someone had to complain. Probably there are several someones complaining. But how many are saying that if transgendered aren't allowed to compete in women's sports, then more people will drown

These people truly have no ability to discern the level of effect to changes made.

Using the same "logic", allowing trans to compete with women will cause a lot of women to drown because they won't learn to swim because they can't win against men pretending to be women.

The stupidity burns.

Is Fauci now irrelevant?  Or would an image representing Faucism still be at least somewhat timely?

Fauci was a useful puppet, and he loved the idea of being on screen (look at how many pictures he had on his office wall that included himself in the picture [which I cannot find now] and then what he has on his wall at his house). He's long past his shelf life as there is too much evidence of him bobbing and weaving the best lie of the hour. An image wouldn't get all that across, see.

Well, I just had the idea of a variation on the fasces---an axe wrapped in a bundle of hypodermics----with the word "Faucism" above, and this motto on a scroll below: "Get the vax or get the axe."

It was inspired by seeing a number of people in my neighborhood wearing their masks on their upper arms, so that the mask would be available in case they wanted to go into an establishment that still requires them, or use public transportation, and thinking how much those arm-worn masks resemble the armbands of various fascist regimes.

I was wondering whether it was worth drawing up; I may do so anyway, but I thought I'd poll the assembled multitude.

After ‘Lightyear’ Bombs, Disney Quietly Cancels Their Upcoming Movie ‘Brokeback Woody’

Disney had planned to roll out Brokeback Woody in early 2023, followed later that year by Cars 4: Lightning McDragQueen. "It's definitely a setback," said director Angus MacLane. "We already had new Woody toys in production with a whole new set of phrases he says when you pull his string. There was 'Howdy, life partner!' and also 'Giddy up, queen!'"

Actually, I think that is a great idea, although it won't really take off until the next planned pandemic.

I think I had suggested something like that a while back, but I'm not up to drawing it, and you have taken it further. I still think it would be good.

Spam in my inbox from a conservative group.

"I stopped watching news years ago, so sick of bias everywhere. I decide to give [media name} a try. Finally Walter Cronkite style reporting.

Not my bolding their bold text.

Really? Are you that friggin stupid to cite Wanker Crankcase as role model.

Remember that "Cronkite" is an Anglicization of the German/Yiddish "Krankheit," which means "sickness."

When this comedy record was made, they expected people to know that; one reporter is "Walter Sickness".

The last few minutes of that record is full of puns. It was something I listened to often as a kid, and I'm sure it affected my sense of humor.
