Biden signs executive order on abortion access (msn.com) So, I guess we longer need the Supreme Court. The resident in the White House can just override their decisions. That sure was easy. I guess we don't have to worry about having to call him president Biden anymore, King Biden will do from now on.

The article is poorly written, but no, the EO does not appear to simply "override" Dobbs. The most concrete thing in is providing leave for Federal workers who are traveling for "medical care" (which is Progspeak for "killing their unborn children"). They also all credulously repeat Biden's line that it's up to " Congress to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade as federal law". No discussion, of course, as to whether Congress has the legitimate power to do that.

I agree, it doesn't override Dobbs. I just wonder if they'll reimburse me for traveling to MI to buy pot, it's not legal in WI or traveling to Reno to gamble, that's not legal here either (well, not counting the Indian casinos). I just don't like the undermining of the Supreme Court decision. It seems like every law we have in this country has a work-around to it. I'm tired of the games they play.
