So, it appears that Droolin' Joe has tested positive for covid.  Will "covid" be the vehicle whereby he's removed from office, and the 2020 election measures re-instated?

I recall how the Progs jeered and laughed when Trump tested positive for Covid.

So... those are the new rules, right, guys?

WA state 2020 crime stats have been published.....

Violent crimes, murder, assault are up, property crimes are up.

According to the association, last year crimes against people jumped up 4.1 percent from the previous year.

The state reported an all-time high of 325 murders, up 5.9 percent, and 592 hate crimes were reported, a 26 percent jump.

What is down?

Drug offenses dropped 60.9 percent and drug arrests fell 73.6 percent.

Yet they fail to make the connection.

Drugs are de facto legalized, not "down", just not being prosecuted.

I suspect someone in the WH staff is fluffing up the pillows for his sad decline and tragic demise.

Homicide is the only stat in which I have any faith, and even that comes with an asterisk.

Body count is hard to fake too much.

What gets on homicide is doing a Pareto analysis.

Gang / Drug related homicides 65%.

AR-15s 0.03%.

Saw something that Biden is in bad shape.

He dies, Harris becomes president and names Newsom as VP.  He runs in 2024, possibly with her stepping down/being impeached with enough time for him to serve out the rest of the term and be able to run again in '24 and '28.

Found on LinkedIn....

An atheist was seated next to a dusty old cowboy on an airplane and he turned to him and said, “Do you want to talk? Flights go quicker if you strike up a conversation with your fellow passenger.”

The old cowboy, who had just started to read his book, replied to the total stranger, “What would you want to talk about?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” said the atheist. “How about why there is no God, or no Heaven or Hell, or no life after death?” as he smiled smugly.
“Okay,” he said. “Those could be interesting topics but let me ask you a question first. A horse, a cow, and a deer all eat the same stuff – grass. Yet a deer excretes little pellets, while a cow turns out a flat patty, but a horse produces clumps. Why do you suppose that is?”
The atheist, visibly surprised by the old cowboy's intelligence, thinks about it and says, “Hmmm, I have no idea.”

To which the cowboy replies, “Do you really feel qualified to discuss God, Heaven and Hell, or life after death, when you don’t know shit?”.

Sort of the executive summary of the last few chapters of Job.

The question: "Where was thou when I laid the foundations of the world?"

My proposed answer: You hadn't created me yet.  Whose fault is that?

Little OR told me this joke last night at bedtime, saying it was a "dad joke" he learned at camp.

A man goes to the zoo, and the zookeeper takes him on a tour.   First he takes the man to the lion cage, and the man says, "wow, look at those magnificent lions!".  Then the zookeeper takes him to see the tigers; the man says, "those tigers are so awesome!".  Then he takes him to see the elephants, "these elephants are huge!  Amazing!".

Finally, the zookeeper takes the man to see a cage, in which there's... a bagel.

The man asks, "why in the world does this zoo have a bagel, in the middle of a cage?!".

"Well," the zookeeper explains, "it's bread in captivity."

The crypt has opened.  Liz Holtzman, a musty back number from the Watergate era, has joined the Oklahoma Land Rush crowd desperately hoping to grab off a win in the new NYC 10th district.
