Kosh---sorry if I was a little harsh last night about the music selection. It was certainly an overbroad statement to say I don't like all rock music, and I've enjoyed a lot of the selections you've posted---that one just happened to hit me wrong. Please chalk up my intemperateness to it having been the end of a pretty rotten day.

My entire team works remote, I'm talking we have guys in Hawaii, Alabama, California, Texas, Utah, Michigan. Most of the team came into the office this week. So, so did I. As a result I've been not around here.

As to the lawn, if you're going to be a crab you might as well grow crabgrass. Meantime---as you've probably figured out, I didn't go down to DC this week. Lots of reasons, some of them even valid. But when I do, I'll try and coordinate.

So, I have to say, all of a sudden, a whole bunch of people in my work/life sphere have Covid (no one I've had personal contact with recently, thankfully). I'd love to believe "this thing is over", but...

Some of the at-home kits seem to be unreliable even before their expiration dates.

Reply to vxbush in 11: I have no confidence in how they are testing for any results to be accurate, even if the test were valid, I have no confidence in their reporting of the results. Given how the CDC is "classifying" COVID, anyone with anyone old cold, flu bug, or even allergies is getting lumped into "COVID" results.

That was true for a long time, but then they needed the COVID numbers to go down, so they started being more strict on CPR testing and not letting cycles go above 35, I think it is. But I honestly have a lot of doubt about the quality of the at-home test kits, and I wonder what they are truly testing for.

Speaking from my own experience; I tested both myself, and Little OR, when first he and then I had some symptoms about a month ago (cough and postnasal drip), several times; and the pediatrician did a PCR test on Little OR. All negative. I am convinced it was just some other bug. So I don't know if "all" sort of other things are being so lumped in. OTOH, when he and then I had Covid back in May, there were consistent tests, both home/antigen and PCR, for both of us.
