And that sounds like grounds for a big lawsuit. Perhaps even a class action one.

Then you get a "woke" judge, and lose.

And note how the super-woke AP describes this:
"When Minneapolis teachers settled a 14-day strike in March, they celebrated a groundbreaking provision in their new contract that was meant to shield teachers of color from seniority-based layoffs and help ensure that students from racial minorities have teachers who look like them."
They simultaneously cheer this, and distort the description of what it is.
And don't even get me started on the soft bigotry of low expectations element of assuming that black/brown students can only learn from "teachers who look like them".
God, I hate these people.

I hope a white teacher is already gotta a legal team together and will file a EEoC complaint, and 14th Amendment lawsuit.
It's so illegal as to be laughable.
But I'm not laughing.

If we are indeed in the middle of a drought, as we are told, and if indeed the sea levels are rising, as we are told despite the absence of any actual evidence to that effect, then clearly the proper response is not to waste time and money building wind farms and erecting solar panels, but to put desalinization plants on high priority and start desalinizing sea water to eliminate the water shortage and lower the sea levels.
Yet there is no mention of, let alone impetus towards, doing this.

It's a tell.
All their screaming about warming, no real plans to address it.
The only plan is forcing people to comply with their will.

Those "Overton windows" are "climate-friendly," right?

If you or I have an Overton Window, it is energy inefficient, colonist, paternalistic, racist, homophobic, and distorts our view.
The leftists' Overton Windows are not all those things, they are perfect!

Overton windows, of course, do not include screens; because no mosquito is illegal.

Putting in an offer on a house today. It has been under contract twice this month and both times the sale fell through. Meanwhile, waiting for an estimate on what necessary repairs would be. Not a lot has to be done, but there are a few things I'd wanted taken care of before moving in, mainly because of the disruption.

Here's my thing about Luca Brasi. Sure, he's supposed to be this terribly scary guy. But in the course of the movie (and the book, IIRC), he never actually accomplishes anything on behalf of the Corleone family. The first time he gets sent on an actual mission of some sort (meeting Sollozzo), he gets killed.

He comes off as even more of an asshole in the book. One wonders whether Vito sent on the mission expecting he'd get killed.
