Reply to vxbush in 3: Okay it to early for that! Especially when it makes perfect sense to me BEFORE I've had my allocated coffee.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 5: Remember back when we warned that leftists had a history of racist behavior? Of Balkanization? That the leftists / statist ALWAYS did this? And nobody listened? I remember.

(Also posted in the Wednesday daytime thread where more people will see it) So, how about that new COVID Omicron booster? Drug Companies Test New Booster on Eight Mice and Zero Humans, FDA Approves It Anyway the Food and Drug Administration authorized bivalent boosters reformulated to target the BA.4 and BA.5 omicron subvariants. At the authorization meeting, FDA officials announced the approval of these new boosters for emergency use based on data from eight mice in a Pfizer study. At the same time, the FDA revoked authorization for the original monovalent boosters—meaning anyone subject to a booster or “up-to-date” mandate will have to take the bivalent booster, which has no proven safety or efficacy data in human beings. I have some suggestions on which people should get the booster first. Fauci, all those in the FDA who approved it, and all officers of Pfizer and Moderna. Really RTWT

I'll put a link up to the article if I can find it again, but something like 6 or 7 countries have now banned anyone but the elderly from getting the vaccine. Too many incidents of heart problems are causing them to ban adults and children from getting vaccinated.

This morning started with hearing some thumping noise from the eaves. We have a "Havahart" trap there because there is evidence of critters. It was there for years until maybe a year ago when it caught something - a weasel. Must have been chasing a mouse that got caught in a nearby trap. Same thing this morning. Another weasel, another mouse. The mice were killed in the traps. The weasels I let out outside. Stinky things. Not a great way to start the day at 6 AM.

A while back, IIRC vxbush posted that for males (no info on females), the point at which the benefits from the vaccine are equal to the side effects is 40. Kids should not be getting vaccinated. Their grandparents, OK, but not kids. I hope they don't require me to get another booster, but the way things are going, it appears they won't. COVID restrictions have really loosened up. But I'm well over 40. They would have to give me paid time to get the booster and time off should it knock me out like the 2nd dose and the booster
