I have no guess as to how to determine if he will or if he won't. Is he still a rational actor? Some say he isn't, and I'm certainly not able to judge from afar. At this point, I have to keep my nose down and get things done.

Semi-related: so I was torturing myself by listening to my local NPR affiliate, and they had a preview of an upcoming segment about Putin‘s nuclear threats. The preview had sort of lighthearted music, the announcer had a sort of goofing around tone, and they were playing “we’ll meet again“ in the background.

PDo you think if the exact same thing were happening with Trump in office, NPR would be making a joke about it?

I can't figure out how they'd handle it. Maybe saying Trump was colluding with Putin to nuke the US.
