Bombshell: FBI offered Christopher Steele $1 million to prove his dossier was true

Case cracked by......CNN, of all places.

I can just see the FBI talking to Steele and saying, "Come on, give us your sources! We want to put them on national TV to back up your claims!" I think if Steele had actually had anything, he would have jumped at that chance. Instead, he had....zippo.

Just out of curiosity, which ones do you believe haven't (yet) been corrupted? It's clear virtually everything at the federal level is, and many state governments are corrupted, especially Dem ones (but not uniquely Dem). What isn't corrupted yet?

Democrats Pay for Fake Support Online in WI | Lake Country Tribune

I wondered about the commercials playing here with all these people praising Governor Evers.  Apparently, they're being paid to say all those nice things!  I couldn't say anything nice about the man if you paid me a million dollars.  Sure hope we're not stuck with him for another four years.

To clarify, these payments are for online supporting posts, but I wouldn't doubt they're paying the people in those god-awful commercials too.

Democrats are utterly corrupt.  But that has been true since the time of Jefferson. I'm so sick of these people.

I had to go to the bank today - one thing I'm having to get used to is that unlike my old place it is something of an expedition to go do little chores like that.  Although looking back it's not any worse than when I was a kid or in the first 15 years or so I lived in this area.

Anyway, the population in this area is extremely diverse. In front of me was a Korean woman who obviously spoke no English.  She was trying to cash a social security check but just kept nodding when the cashier asked "do you want to deposit this?" She then was confused because she didn't get any cash back. Eventually a friend who spoke sort of English came to her aid, but she didn't really understand what the cashier was saying.  Meanwhile, I saw a clearly third-generation Hispanic fellow getting out six or seven big bundles of cash, almost certainly to pay his work crew.

Very different world out here than the lily-white (though increasingly Indian) rich millennial neighborhood I left.

Reminds me a bit of my graduate school days, living next door to an Arab family with two wives, Nigerian kids in the neighborhood, and one Asian family nearby.

Power corrupts.

It a miracle we had the Founders and Framers at that time and that place. Men who for the most part transcended their base humanity and crafted this Nation. It is a testament that moment and them that the Nation has endured as long as it has, and survived the legions of lesser and petty men who grasp for power.

Amazon’s Project Kuiper satellites will fly on the new Vulcan Centaur rocket in early 2023

Our prototype mission will help us test how the different pieces of our satellite network work together, adding real-world data from space to results from our extensive lab testing, fieldwork, and simulation. We’ll use findings from the mission to help finalize design, deployment, and operational plans for our commercial satellite system, which will provide reliable, affordable broadband to customers around the world.

“We couldn’t be more excited to join the first launch of ULA’s Vulcan Centaur. We’ve already secured 38 Kuiper launches on Vulcan, and using the same launch vehicle for our prototype mission gives us a chance to practice payload integration, processing, and mission management procedures ahead of those full-scale commercial launches,” said Rajeev Badyal, vice president of technology for Project Kuiper. “Our prototype satellites will be ready this year, and we look forward to flying with ULA.”

Press release so I can post it!
My piece of this every electronic component the satellite in the design tools, plus my name engraved on a structural element.

So cool to have a public launch announcement.

Being a long time space and aviation geek, it's so cool to be a small part of the project.

Plus it's been an excellent job for me, great team, and work enviroment.

It's really great you get to work in a company that focuses on real accomplishments and not just BS progressive crap.

I have to take the online DEI training and such.

But nobody has time for extraneous BS, it is hard core engineering, with no a real deadline we have to make on the first two satellites.
