Put your best guesses as to what Elon Musk will do to Twitter now that he will own it after today. Place your bets!

My guesses:

• He will get rid of the unproductive people in the company, but I doubt it will be the 75% figure he gave earlier. 
• He will open up the platform again and let everyone who had been cut off for dissenting opinions on COVID, healthcare, education, etc. back on. 
• But I am also betting that somehow he is going to ask for government money to pay for something related to Twitter. Not sure what, but he makes a point of going after easy government money when he can.

I learned a new word today: "mumpsimus."  It means "a bigoted adherent to error."

The American dictionary in Ventura says,

Don't worry - the lie is out there and well embedded in people's consciousness.  Sort of like the story (since retracted) of how Clarence Thomas had lunch with Ron DeathSanctis the day before the the Supreme Court overturned Roe. Except the luncheon was actually a year earlier. But it doesn't matter - the lie is now a fact.

Foreign Airlines Now Have $700 Million Trapped In Nigeria

Nigeria’s foreign currency shortage has trapped around $700 million in funds for foreign airline operators, according to Vanguard. Despite financial intervention by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the figure is expected to rise further, having already doubled from £346 million in September.

Strict measures have been implemented by the government to prevent foreign currency from leaving the country. In September, Nigeria’s Civil Aviation Authority announced it would begin fining carriers using currencies other than the Naira after the CBN released $256 million in funds.

Isn't there some Nigerian prince who can help? Maybe the airlines should check their email.
