Day started with a Dell monitor (good deal when I got a computer) not turning on. Still under warranty. Dell wants pictures to show no damage. I have an Acer monitor, too, that is still working fine after probably 10 years - one of the old ones before LED backlighting. And support had me try something I should have thought of - a spare power cord. Works

However, I am now officially supporting DeSantis as Trump refuses to recognize that meeting with Jew-haters is not acceptable. He could have apologized instead of digging deeper. Besides, I think DeSantis has a better chance in the main election

Fucking text spammer got me at a bad time. It did not indicate any bank but said my "card" was "blocked" And gave a number to call that is a know spammer (thank you, norombo). Reported as spam, AND filed a report with the FTC. I hope that number gets permanently blocked from all phone carriers..

Reply to Occasional Reader in 14: I went to Brown Univ. for grad school, and there were a lot of places Lovecraft mentions in Providence. One is, I belive, the Brown French House. I guess that is appropriate for the somewhat froglike Cthulu.
