BREAKING: Classified Docs Found at Biden Think Tank, FBI Investigation Underway Think he'll get the Trump treatment? No way, unless this is how they get him out of the way so he won't run for office. Of course, this was hysterical to me: The documents were found in a folder in a box amongst unclassified papers, sources say. It is not currently known what level of classification the documents had, but according to the sources, there were “nuclear secrets.” HA! Given that is what they called Trump's supposedly secret docs, and given that Biden's lawyers knew this material was classified on November 2, I have no doubt part of the reason they pulled their stunt on Trump was so Biden's misstep could be swept under the rug as "no big deal." When asked for his opinion on the raid of Mar-a-Lago and a photo of the allegedly classified documents found there, Biden wondered, “How that could possibly happen — how anyone could be that irresponsible?” “Totally irresponsible,” he said at the time. I can’t wait to hear the White House spin on this.

Gosh, what's the word for that political system in which powerful corporations align with the regime in power to enforce a single political narrative?

This approaches low-intensity-war levels of casualties. Wow. No one is talking about this or about the actions of Brazilians after their own stolen election. Who do you consider the best source for information on Peru's situation?

El Pais (from Spain) tends to have a pretty good (if left-biased) roundup of news from Latin America, and I believe they have an English edition.

Do they do the "shoot 'em in the leg!" thing, or perhaps the firing a shotgun through a closed door thing? Note how Fox even writes this, though: he "mixed up his words," when it's clear he simply doesn't have a clue what is going on.

Spent the last week sicker'n a dog. First boys brought covid home, that was a moderate flu. The kicker was the opportunistic sinus and bronchial infection that followed. What drove me nuts was the docs, "oh just covid", I'm I was over covid and getting better, this id different.

I'm not setting up a pub thread tonight, but There should be a literary pub where the gesture indicating you want a beer is a stein beck.
