BREAKING: James O’Keefe Put on Leave at Project Veritas. Has There Been a Coup? Project Veritas, whose public face has always been its founder James O’Keefe, has been hit with a scandal. A whistleblower has come forward regarding the recent news that O’Keefe has been put on leave and stripped of his role in the company. According to this unnamed whistleblower, O’Keefe has fallen victim to a lack of proper corporate structure at Project Veritas, which is divided into two separate organizations with different boards and funding. The whistleblower alleges that two ringleaders, Matt Tyrmand and Barry Hinckley, have taken advantage of the situation to push O’Keefe out. The board members and C-suite officers involved in the attempt to remove O’Keefe are listed in the Twitter thread. The whistleblower describes the board’s decision as a “Stalinesque kangaroo court trial.”
I wonder what was coming up that had to be shut down? Or had he already been shown as too dangerous?

So who has TikTok installed on their devices at the federal government level? ... Congress must take immediate action to safeguard America’s cybersecurity and prevent malicious cyber-attacks from going unaddressed, especially as a recent shock report from States Newsroom reveals that 32 members of Congress—31 Democrats and one independent—were still using TikTok as of January. ... Roughly half of the congressional members on the report who had TikTok installed on personal devices hold or have previously held positions on committees related to military or foreign affairs. We are controlled by Top. Men. No answer yet as to whether I was wrong about the the press secretary's reference to TikTok was the software or the parlance claimed by some to be a reference to a press timeline.

Has anyone watched Sarah Huckabee-Sanders' response to the SOTU speech? My husband did last night and thought it was great, but I haven't stopped to watch it yet.

I read articles like this and think, "Is that what certain fields do? Find a dip and therefore assume it must be just one possible solution when in fact there might be several? I'm really hoping I'm wrong and that they have more analysis in the paper to explain why they think the dips in light are the result of rings.

KJP and/or the National Security Council, apparently (per that link from yesterday).

In #7 JCM said: Infiltration to take it all down? That seems possible. Veritas has had some serious stories released over the year. It would make sense that there are lots of people who want them to stop being so effective.

I got a survey from the Seattle Port Authority. Most the survey was asking about climate BS initiatives. I ranked all those things unimportant. The in the comments told them their job was to provide efficient and cost effective movement of goods and people through port facilities. That now of their proposal would have any meaningful or measureable impact on climate. And stop wasting taxpayer money on boondoggles. Not that it will make a difference. But it felt good.
