Good morning, campers.

I was glad to see this story in PJMedia reminding me about the attempts by Democrats to disrupt the inauguration of Governor Kemp. The howling and freak out of Dems about Trump’s actions related to the election really pales in comparison to all the shenanigans the Democrats have done for years when Republicans win. Another article I read earlier this week noted that the last time a Republican won the election for President and the Democrats didn’t start pushing to overturn the election was 1988.

Just a reminder on how bad things are in San Francisco.

Leftists also rioted in DC to try to stop Inauguration Day 2017.  But we're supposed to forget that, too.

SF proves the inequity argument to and for the leftist.

They are counting on The People getting fed up enough to accept their solutions.

And yet, I'll bet she voted for this (basically).

In fact, IIRC, some right-side internet denizens have already tracked down this same lady's posts from a few years ago, in which she was all about BLM and "defund the police".

Karma is a female dog, and all that.

That is beyond my capacity to understand. How leftist do not make the connection between the people and policies they vote for and results.

Well, the root cause is... WHITE SUPREMACY.  Or something.

Leftists really cannot do anything beyond first-order thinking and have absolutely no ability to connect actions to results. This has been demonstrated for over a century, but I’ve only really come to understand it in the last 5-10 years. This same lack of ability to think is, alas, in full display at institutions of higher education, where it shouldn’t be the only method of thinking presented. But there is a full-on onslaught trying to get rid of conservative professors from these institutions.

The ones that really confuse me are coworkers who are solid engineers, data driven, all that... but only within that sector of expertise. All the logical, rationality, fact based thinking goes completely out the window.

I can see the first order thinking, the rigid adherence to ideology, etc...

It's just such a foreign ... culture.

Egads…. I’m more of a Saks Fifth Avenue  man, myself. But thank you!

Couldn’t that be a part of the education they got? The only place they saw more than first order thinking was in engineering. Everywhere else, the reasoning is more simplistic, with (perhaps) more siloing of information. Physics and math are closely integrated; sociology, psychology, and math are less so.

Happy birthday. I was actually thinking of you this weekend, but only as it relates to Siri, because Siri was doing a terrible job of figuring out what I was actually trying to do. Somehow the words “minutes” and “seconds” are constantly transcribed incorrectly.

It’s good that I’m known for garbled voice to text transcriptions!

Could be, most of my schooling was overseas, also too any years ago to think about.

It was very much throw back to the classical "liberal" education. Freshman english we were doing Plato's Republic, we had Latin... encouraged, no forced to think about thinks. Often we had to write papers from multiple points of view.
