After being sick most of last week and the weekend, I'm finally human again. And what do I see but an adorable little honey container that looks like a lil' house!

I'm going to spend the morning catching up on the threads from last week and then I'll post news. Maybe.

Treasury Dept. Admits to Using Political Terms Like 'MAGA' to Spy on Bank Transactions' It appears that parts of the government used the Capitol riot to surveil people based on their political leanings. That's a revelation contained in a letter from the Treasury Department to South Carolina GOP Senator Tim Scott. Scott, the ranking Republican on the Senate Banking Committee, requesting more information on a surveillance program uncovered by the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government investigation. That surveillance program used search terms like "MAGA" and "Trump" as well as "Biden," "antifa," "Schumer," and "Pelosi." Scott noted that "Exchange events" convened by its Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, or FinCEN, "began shortly after January 6 under the prior Administration," and included the political search terms.

Reply to vxbush in 3: Oh, and one more paragraph: The House Judiciary Committee also obtained documents revealing that FinCEN warned financial institutions that an "extremism indicator" could be "the purchase of books (including religious texts)," like the Bible, and subscriptions to certain media "containing extremist views."

Reply to vxbush in 7: He said the same thing last time. Media melted down. Trump made it happen.
NATO survived. The media really insults us thinking we don't remember.

So i see that in last night's Superbowl, black Americans were forced to sing a segregated national anthem; proving once again that white supremacism reigns in AmeriKKKa...

Hooray for Paliwood! That sloppy Photoshoppy Paliwood! Where a jihadi-o can make a video Of someone who’s been knocked flat Though blood is scattered, it doesn’t matter He’ll be back up and walking just like that Hooray for Paliwood! They work at making genocide look good It barely takes them even half an instant To take an infant, or a woman in a hood Who looks like a ninja, and make ‘em look injured— Hooray for Paliwood! Hooray for Paliwood! Emoting and exploding Paliwood! Kids go on television to spout their vision Of blowing up amidst some Jews It's so commonplace that when they self-erase It barely rates a mention on the news Hooray for Paliwood! They invite doctors who want to do good Then interview them as they loudly bewail The way that they fail To save all the lives they should It never is revealed they're used as human shields--- Hooray for Paliwood! Hooray for Paliwood! That struggling, weapons-smuggling Paliwood! Where armaments assorted will be transported In a Red Crescent ambulance But don't dare object for if you detect it You'll be killed as soon as they get the chance Hooray for Paliwood! They work at making genocide look good It barely takes them even half an instant To take an infant Or a woman in a hood Who looks like a ninja And make ‘em look injured— Hooray for Paliwood!

Remember how the Allies all agreed in 1945 not to attack Berlin, because that was the last place Germans could flee to?
Neither do I.
So: About Rafah.

Clearly, the true culprit here is the AR-15; and the manufacturer thereof; and the NRA. Oh, and Trump.
