Did anyone listen to the arguments from the Louisiana/Missouri case before the Supreme Court yesterday regarding the first amendment and the government telling third parties to restrict free speech? What was your sense of the arguments? Sundance says the justices were talking favorably of the government "in large part due to the inability of the plaintiffs to outline direct actionable harm to them as an outcome of the regulation of speech by the tech platforms."

Multiple Criminal Referrals Expected in Biden Impeachment Inquiry

Well, multiple referrals expected, claimed, but no specifics given.

MREs are just fine for US troops, but they are completely unacceptable to the Palestinians getting them as part of the US Aid drop.

This is a good description

Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung described Biden as a "short-circuited Roomba." "Not even with help does he know what’s going on or where he is. He’s completely broken,” he said.

And this is why these people need to be utterly defeated. Among other reasons, it’s the only thing that will save them.

I look at it this way. I post a plan to storm the Jedi Palace and kill the younglings. The government can't force YZ to take my plans day. They can get a warrant based on criminal threats, conspiracy etc.... YZ has to to comply or they become a co-conspirator. The Alliance troopers then raid my ship arrest mme and hold the ship as evidence.

The government legal can't have invoke censorship for things they don't like.

There has to be actionable evidence of criminal activity.

The hard cases are the border line. Where the online activity seems to indicate something else is going on. I can see some of those cases deserving of say an investigation to see if there is fire behind the smoke.

I don't think the any government currently earns the trust for those edge cases. Everything they don't like they make it the edge case. Heck they are currently make mainstream they don't like into criminal cases.

I know a fitting fate for Achmed Kouta.

He should killed with an MRE spoon.

Don't laugh it's been done.

Yup they sure vet those border crossers....

Most wanted Colombian gang leader captured in Texas

Law enforcement say Pirela crossed the border on January 2 and requested political asylum on January 7 from Venezuela. He was also allowed into this country and released...

On the subject of the 1st Amendment Biden's token on the court doesn't understand.....

"My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods,"

I saw that this morning and debated about the value of posting it. We know how leftists feel about the limitations the constitution puts on the government; see Obama's radio comments from before his first election. So this isn't that big of a surprise. But there's no inkling of where the rest of the court resides on this issue in that article, and I'm curious.

The problem is that it is even a question before the court, or that we wonder which way the Justice might rule.

John Wick, even, would be impressed.

I must admit--there are people who deserve that kind of treatment.

So part of my oppo research is listening to BBC world news while driving to work.  This morning, they of course continued to thumb-suck about the plight of the poor, saintly Palestinians.  But one phrase kept drawing my attention, when they were talking about the supposed negotiations in Qatar: "both sides".   They bang on and on about how "both sides" need to be happy with some negotiated so-called resolution.  (Oh, and I find it hilarious that they cited Hamas as "rejecting" an Israeli proposal.  Uh, okay, guys.... so we'll keep destroying you in detail. Works for us!)

The idea that Hamas should continue to be a "side" ad infinitum is accepted without question.

I'd be hard pressed not to break the nose of a Hamas supporter I ran into.

Jukebox

Parody

Blues

Twenty-first century blues

They’re getting me down

Who’s

Escaped those weary

Twenty-first century blues

Why

If there’s a G-d up on high

Watching the lies

High

Above the twenty-first century shite?

In this strange illusion

Genders of confusion

People seem to lose their way

Pronouns are to strive for

Zhim or zham or zher

Don’t say gay

Call it a day

Blues

Sanity’s to win or to lose

It’s getting me down

Who’s

Escaped those weary

Twenty-first century blues

Why ia it that civilized humanity

Can make Jews to be wrong?

Love Hamas with their insanity

Our lives cannot last long

We’ve reached a deadline

Facebook headline

Every sorrow

Blues value

Is ad value

Tomorrow
