Good morning, campers.

Tony Bobulinski tried to get voters to understand just how dirty Joe Biden was before the 2020 election, and of course the media blocked him as much as possible. His accusations got little traction.

So the fact that he spent a significant bit of time yesterday in front of the House committee to yet again detail the crimes of Joe and Hunter Biden might make the Democrats stop and think that they should have paid attention to him in 2020.

Nah. Silly me, looking for responsible behavior in these politicians.

But watching Sandy Cortez try to look all intelligent delivering her pre-written script is just ridiculous. She asked Bobulinski if he personally witnessed Joe Biden commit a crime. Bobulinski says yes. She then says, "What crime?" He tries to start giving the crimes, and she keeps interrupting him and shouting over him.

House Panel Shines Light on the 'Horrific' Organ Harvesting of Aborted Babies

The article is short on details of what happened in the hearing, just giving it the briefest description--although, what I read as a historical review of news of organ harvesting might have been a recitation of the facts presented at the hearing. It didn't sound that way when I read it, though.

DEI Kills: Woke Doctors Remove Very Real Racial Differences in Kidney Function, Mess Up Transplant List

Instead of linking to the information-lite article I found, I linked directly to the article at the City Journal with the details.

In December 2022, the board of UNOS’s transplant system issued a directive requiring all transplant centers to apply retroactively the new formula to determine black patients’ spots on the national waitlist. Last December, the network announced the results of its application of the new formula. Removing the racial adjustments had moved the waitlist’s more than 6,100 black patients up by an average of 1.7 years, with just over 500 receiving a transplant. Of course, this meant that some nonblack patients were correspondingly pushed back in line.

While the board heralded this move as “underscor[ing] our commitment to equity” and ending a system that “unfairly delayed care for many black patients,” its decision resulted in unfairly delaying needed transplants for nonblack patients. The old race-conscious formula, far from being a remnant of the Jim Crow era, was published in 1999 and updated in 2009, and was based on studies and tests involving over 10,000 patients across racial, ethnic, and gender lines. The formula’s authors, renowned nephrologists, concluded that without the racial adjustment, the formula would have introduced significant error into screening for chronic kidney disease. It would have resulted in some black patients with less advanced disease or even no disease receiving treatment and transplants more quickly than nonblack patients with more advanced disease.

The new formula, by contrast, is scientifically difficult to defend. Instead of adjusting for one race in the name of cross-racial accuracy, as the old formula did, the new formula removes the adjustment so that black patients can get faster treatment. Ironically, the formula without a racial adjustment is more racially biased.

We already saw both the Feds and some blue states (NY comes to mind) explicitly use race - per se - as a criterion for deciding who would get COVID-19 vaccines and/or treatment first.

The Progs have completely drowned in the poisoned waters of DEI.

We have a PLM (Product LIfecycle Management) tool to manage all the parts. Except it is not integrated with the design tools.

Yeah... makes life ah, interesting since I'm responsible for electrical components.

And I bet there are a literal gazillion parts for any job. Fun times.

Do not buy Siemens software. They will tell you, in the sales and demo phases, or yes our software is integrated we do it all the time for customers. Then when you sign and buy and ask for the integration it's an "extra" and costs more. Oh, the integration for other customers? Well that's proprietary and we can't use it for YOU, we have to develop a custom solution.

Oh, that is BS. They are full of it if they think I would buy software in that situation.

I would love to come up with some false representation or something.

We have everything built and in those systems, converting to another system is just not possible and still maintain schedules.

What we have gotten is Siemens Application Engineers assigned to support our group full time on the various tools.

The data is still a mess.

I got into more arguments during Desert Storm when that Bunker when civilians was claimed to have been hit.

I ask people, don't you find the concept of a Iraqi Civilian Bunker to be oxymoronic? Especially since it was broadcasting my Iraqi military command frequencies.

Al Capp is lucky to have checked out when he did.  I was imagining him doing "Woke Li'l Abner" today:

Dogpatch Bachelor #1: "Th' Sadie Hawkins Day race ain't but a couple of weeks away, an' every bachelor in Dogpatch is runnin' round lookin' fo' a place to hide.  But Li'l Abner is jes' a-layin' thar, fishin' like he ain't got a worry in the world.  Ah wonder why?"

Dogpatch Bachelor #2: "Say, thar, Li'l Abner, how come you ain't frettin' over Sadie Hawkins Day?  Is this th' y'ar yo' plans to let Daisy Mae ketch yo'?"

Li'l Abner: "Nope. But she won't ketch me, an' Ah ain't worried."

Both Dogpatch Bachelors: "How come?  How is you so sure?  Ain't you runnin' this y'ar?"

Li'l Abner:  "Oh, Ah's runnin', all right.  Be sure o' thet."

Both Bachelors:  "Then, whut yo' got up yo' sleeve? Tell us!"

Li'l Abner: "It's very simple.  This y'ar Ah ain't runnin' as a bachelor; Ah's runnin' as a woomin."

Both Bachelors: "WHUT?!???"

Li'l Abner: "Yo' heerd me."

Both Bachelors: "But...but...you ain't a woomin!"

Li'l Abner: "Sho' Ah is.  Thass how Ah ahdentifies---an' eff Ah ahdentifies as a woomin, then a woomin Ah is!  An' no Dogpatch gal kin say anything about it."

There were any number of things he did in that strip that would not get by today's feral Left; his '60s student protest group, S.W.I.N.E. ("Students Wildly Indignant about Nearly Everything"), his takedown of diet foods with "Mockeroni" and "Mockeroons" ("Eat like a swine and stay slim as a snake"), etc.  The Shmoos, too---and the industry and government response to them.

Please allow me to introduce myself

Im a man of hope and change

I've been around for few short years

But I'm the object of a new faith.

People think I'm Jesus Christ

Bringing hope and change

Made damn sure that no one

Knows what that change will bring

Pleased to meet you

Hope you guess my (middle) name

But misleading you

Is the nature of my campaign

I went to Washington

When I saw it was a time for a change

Turned the US socialist

The people screamed in pain

I cut back tanks

with my C-in-C rank

while the jihad raged

and our response, it stank

Pleased to meet you

Hope you guess my (middle) name, oh yeah

Ah, misleading you

Is the nature of my campaign, oh yeah

I watched with glee

While the Reverend Wright

Damned America and

Put down Jews and Whites

I shouted out,

"who's the next Kennedy?"

and made y'all think

it was truly me

Let me please introduce myself

Im a man of hope and change

And I played all the race cards

And threw all my friends under the bus

Pleased to meet you

Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah

But misleading you

Is the nature of my campaign, oh yeah, get down, baby

Pleased to meet you

Hope you guessed my (middle) name, oh yeah

But misleading you

Is just the nature of my campaign

Just as every pol is a criminal

That the spinners make into saints

To end this tale

Elect me President

And I'll lay your world to waste

So if you meet me

Have some courtesy

Have some sympathy, and some taste

Use all your well-learned politesse

Or Ill lay your world to waste, um yeah

Pleased to meet you

Hope you guessed (middle) my name, um yeah

But misleading you

Is the nature of my campaign, um mean it, get down

Woo, who

Oh yeah, get on down

Oh yeah

Oh yeah!

Tell me baby, what's my (middle) name

Tell me honey, can ya guess my (middle) name

Tell me voter, what's my (middle) name

I tell you voters, you're to blame
