Personally I'd like to see the whole "professional" college sports industry dismantled.  Have a farm team system for non-student  young athletes who want to become professional athletes.  College sports should be for "real" college students.

Also IMAO opinion just pay student athletes. There are a lot of student jobs that pay. I spent two years as the Student Government office manager. A paid position.
