This story about a special ops colonel shooting a supposed Chechen posing as one of two utility workers is getting weirder. The way the story reads at PJ Media, the two were employed by a power company, but the CEO of the company moved to the US from Moldova in 2013 and worked as a busboy and sold ice in Alaska. Then, three years later, he opened a utility company.

Perhaps he did that work in Moldova, but that wasn't reflected in the story and the story definitely makes clear that the so-called "utility worker" was shooting a camera at the colonel's kids.

Very strange.

President Biden seems to be doing some witness intimidation. Well, the writer put it as "witness tampering", but that doesn't seem strong enough to me.

WSJ: Biden Administration Presses Allies Not to Confront Iran on Nuclear Program

Not a surprise, but annoying all the same.

Biden has given Iran millions of dollars. Iran has enriched more material than is allowed by the 2015 nuclear deal. And is anyone in the media talking about this?

UCLA med students alarmingly sub-standard, as school 'cuts corners', admits applicants based on race

”I wondered...if this applicant had been [a] white male, or [an] Asian female for that matter, [whether] we would have had that much discussion,” the official stated.

Several university officials spoke with the outlet and said Lucero “cut corners” to achieve racial diversity.

”I have students on their rotation who don’t know anything,” one admissions committee member said. “People get in and they struggle.”

Another UCLA faculty member said, “I wouldn’t normally talk to a reporter...But there’s no way to stop this without embarrassing the medical school.”

Yeah, PJ Media has been covering this, as has Instapundit. Honestly, this isn't a surprise at all, as diversity uber alles has been the point for a while with higher education. But there are definite real-world issues when DEI hits medicine and engineering (for example).

Lots of missing details for that story, still.  And the MSM is remarkably incurious about it (so far).

There have been a lot of releases recently from FOIA requests for government's attempt to mark stories as "disinformation".

One of the items is about the attempt to label military personell who believe they are being monitored by foreigners as "racist".

I believe a slogan from the US (distributed, virtual) Department of Truth is:

Ignorance by the masses is Strength for the elites and their government
