The FBI has identified Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old man from western Pennsylvania, as the person who attempted to assassinate former President Trump at a campaign event in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.
He was a registered Republican but donated to a "progressive" groupl either "Progressive Turnout Project, a Chicago-based political action committee that supports Democrat candidates for public office and claims to advocate for "key Democratic constituencies: young people, minorities and low-income people." " (Fox) or "the left-wing ActBlue political action committee" (PJM)

When Crooks was 17 he made a $15 donation to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises money for left-leaning and Democratic politicians, according to a 2021 Federal Election Commission filing. The donation was earmarked for the Progressive Turnout Project, a national group that rallies Democrats to vote. The groups did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

So I’m seeing speculation that Trump being shot at, and literally shrugging off his security detail in order to fist bump in the air, will win him votes among black male voters who see him as a badass. A little musical accompaniment to that:

According to the ADL, Jon Minadeo, founder of the Goyim Defense League, hosted a session on X, formerly Twitter, titled “Jews try to assassinate Trump!” Similarly, conspiracy theorist Stew Peters baselessly suggested that Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency, was involved in the attack. Prominent figures in white supremacist circles also propagated these theories. Nick Fuentes, a well-known white supremacist, claimed that Israeli intelligence attacked to replace Trump with a candidate more favorable to Israeli interests, the ADL noted.
Just shows how crazy these Jew-haters are. A president more favorabile to Israel? Who? Netanyahu?

Note that the shooter was using an AR-15, the Left's currently-most-hated weapon. I'm looking forward to the forthcoming "common-sense gun control" articles.

As for any kind of gun control, I have read several articles from left-leaning places that actually do look at the science, there is NO correlation between gun control laws and gun crime. However, places with less gun control have more gun suicides, but the articles did not go on to see if the suicide rates are similar and that guns are used when they are more available.
This was before the BLM movement, and I think now places with more gun control have more gun crime (I'm looking at you, Chicago- or maybe you should change your name to Shot-cago) This of course has nothing to do with the gun control ordinances but the leftist ideas of leaving criminals on the stree.
