So what are people’s thoughts on Vance? I read his book and it had some moments of clarity in it followed by standard Democrat big government thinking. I’ve been lead to think, depending on who you read, that he either really likes Trump or he is another deep state embed like Pence.

We Have Another Major Update on Trump Assassination Attempt The news coming out gets even worse: [I]t wasn’t just bystanders who saw Crooks on the rooftop. Law enforcement reportedly spotted the would-be assassin 30 minutes before he opened fire… No, even worse:
Three snipers were stationed inside building used in Trump assassination attempt There were three snipers stationed inside the building the shooter used during Saturday's shooting of former President Donald Trump, a local law enforcement officer with direct knowledge of the incident tells CBS News. The operations plan had them stationed inside the building looking out windows toward the Trump rally. The information about the three snipers being inside the building was first reported by BeaverCountian.com. One of the snipers inside saw Thomas Matthew Crooks outside and looking up at the roof, observing the building and disappearing, a local law enforcement officer tells CBS News. Crooks came back, sat down and looked at his phone. At that point, one of the snipers took a picture of him. Crooks took out a rangefinder and the sniper radioed to the command post. Crooks disappeared again and then came back a third time with a backpack. The snipers called in with information that he had a backpack and said he was walking towards the back of the building. |

Reply to buzzsawmonkey in 25: I did find the video of the two female agents out side the SUV .... um interesting. One of the had trouble holstering their firearm, from what I know they should be drilled until a weapon can be holstered blindfolded, hanging upside down in a freezing waterfall. The muscle memory so ingrained that holstering just happened. That's a training issue. The other one with the pony tail was confused, she turned around walked one way, spun around, walked back spun around a couple fo items. Agents are assigned sectors, when something goes down they have a sector, from 3 to 5 if using a clock face, then a distance. Each on has their sector, the pony tailed agent look lost not focused. Again a training issue. Along with the Directors stupid comment about sloped roofs.... and the rest of what is coming out.... serious problems at USSS.

This has a lot of interesting information Too much to quote the good stuff. But be sure to read the last bit, "The Back Pages" - Drinking with J.D. Vance OK, worth a couple of quotes there (remember both Vance and the reporter have been drinking): Before I could get my exact question right, Vance launched. “Israel is a country and a nation that doesn't hate its own fucking people,” he said. “I really admire that.”
“Translating the impulse of the multiracial, multicultural middle class turned working class—there’s a lot of work to do,” he said. “But the instincts of the middle-class Black voter, the middle-class white voter, the middle-class Latino voter, are the same.” And what are they? “We love our country, but we don’t want to live in a shithole.”
