My first thought on hearing that Kamala Harris is Biden's choice to take over the candidacy for president: Hillary Clinton must be blowing multiple gaskets and going through boxes and boxes of vino. And throwing knives at Harris' pictures on several walls.

My next thought after that was: if the assassination attempt on Trump had been successful, would Biden have been able to stay in the race? They only removed him after it was clear Trump survived and gained even more backing.

My third thought was that Nancy Pelosi would do just about anything to have Gavin Newsom on the ticket so she could keep her fingers on the top levers of politics. But I just read this morning that Joe Manchin is debating re-registering as a Democrat so he can throw his hat into the ring at the convention. Honestly, that makes me seriously question Manchin's ability to read the tea leaves.

Reply to vxbush in 3: But in that same article, I learned Newsom has endorsed Harris. And that made me very suspicious. Considering who these people are, I can't help but wonder if something is going to happen to make Harris have to step away from the nomination to make the convention truly wide open--or if Dems are going to accept losing in November.

And now, like clockwork, the Democrats are saying Trump is too old to be president, less than one day after Biden stepped back as the candidate because of his age issues and after MONTHS of saying that Biden is completely functional and capable when it has been clear for YEARS that he wasn't.

Remember, kids, early on in her VPOTUS stint, Biden in a high-profile way made her the point-persyn on two issues: 1) The southern US border; and 2) Defusing Russia-Ukraine tensions.
How'd that all work out?
If the GOP can't make some knockout campaign ads with this material, they aren't really trying.

Reply to vxbush in 8: So, Jill called Cheatle in and said, "I got you this job, and you had one task to perform, and you failed. I want you out as soon as possible"?

IMAO I think the bell weather to watch will be the Superdelegates. Those are the party control individuals at the convention. Which ever way they lean will be a tell for who the fix is in for. Also is the off chance the (D)s are writing off this election. Put up Kamala and that removes her from the table in 2028.

The deep state liked having Biden as a figurehead. I think a lot of what happens may depend on how well Kamala plays ball with them over the next few months. She would be quite a figurehead simply based on what we've seen so far.

Reply to vxbush in 12: Very true also. A lot also depends on how deep the ballot fraud is and how many of the illegals via motor voter will be voting, and how confident they are in having the steal in place, and do they think they have enough in play to overcome the Trump lead. I've been watching the (D)s steal elections in WA through King Co. fraud for 25 years now. So yeah I'm saying there is widespread, pervasive fraud in play.

Well, they were assuming there was so much fraud in 2020 that they felt they had to put up barricades around the House to prevent an attack. I have a feeling they won't mind making the fraud completely in your face, given what happens in Illinois, Washington, and other states. Power uber alles.

Reply to vxbush in 15: It could suggest---creepily enough---that the kid was recruited to be the cover/fall guy for the designated shooter. I don't like to go down that rabbit hole just yet, however.

Yes, it's a very interesting data point on its own, but you definitely need a lot more evidence before you can say he was recruited for this. And it's no surprise that there are a lot of advertising IDs associated with him. That's fairly common, methinks.

I can understand someone associated with DC visiting the old age home where he cooked, but not visiting him.

I hope. You guys are going full X-Files here. But you’re missing the big conspiracy theory story: where is Joe? Did he actually agree to stand down for a second term, or is he being held against his will?
no, I am not endorsing this theory, but it is making the round so to speak.
/and yes, it’s a little weird that a sitting president would announce he’s not seeking a second term via a photo of a letter posted on social media, no audio or video of the person himself
