Plethora of media headlines... "W. Virginia illegally removing voters prior to election, DoJ claims in Lawsuit". All false. W. Virginia is removing illegals who checked that they were ineligible to vote on their motor voter registration, and being giving notice to provide proof of citizenship before removal. The W. Virginia law has been on the books for 20 years. Garland's DoJ is violating the Constitution.... nothing new there. One of the panic stories... DOJ sues Virginia over alleged voter roll purges too close to Election Day

Reply to vxbush in 3: This is not what Nathan Bedford Forrest had in mind when he said, "Git the skeer on 'em, and keep the skeer on 'em".

Garland's DoJ is violating the Constitution.... nothing new there. I hadn't gone into looking at them because I assumed as much, given the media coverage, but good to know.

The AI programmers keep forgetting about security: Invisible text that AI chatbots understand and humans can’t? Yep, it’s a thing. The article is written to make you think this is an active exploit, but a table farther down in the article explains which LLMs are potentially still affected. It's interesting, though, in a history of technology sense, to see how decisions made decades ago are having a decided impact today.

Georgia judge rules election officials can't delay certification because of fraud concerns McBurney, who also presided over the Georgia special purpose grand jury that recommended indicting Trump and others in 2023, wrote that "no election superintendent (or member of a board of elections and registration) may refuse to certify or abstain from certifying election results under any circumstance." One of the things SCOTUS during Bush v. Gore was once a election is certified, it locks it that vote count in beyond reach of the courts So what this hacktivist judge has done is signal to the (D)s that fraud away, if they can delay, disrupt, block investigation until the drop dead certification date... their fraud stands.
