But they’re clearly bad people who don’t realize that Al-Jawlani is a changed man, an austere religious scholar who underwent a makeover courtesy of Queer Eye for the Syrian Guy and now, in the words of the BBC, wears a “more western style wardrobe”. At least if you count rocking Zelensky’s military fatigue hand-me-downs as looking like a regular western warlord. Georgetown idiots with PhDs then cheer as statues of the old dictator are toppled as if Damascus, Cairo, Baghdad, Tripoli or Tunis were Prague, Berlin or any city where democracy means more than ‘my tribe has more guns than your tribe’ RTWT. Not that long and quite entertaining

Wellllllll, I wouldn't go that far. I would say they need to have far, FAR better candidates, because every candidate they have put forth has sucked, big time. Better to say they need to RADICALLY rethink their positions.

Drones: My 2 cents. They are large, long endurance drones. We're talking $50K plus types. So not likely hobbyists or pranksters. They are operating with anti-collision lights. That to me mitigates against foreign actors on intel gathering sorties. A foreign actor might just turn on the lights to cause confusion. My money is a DoD, DARPA and or other agencies wargaming drones surveillance and attack, and it's being kept "secret".
