Wow. I know I was swamped yesterday and couldn't post, but I didn't realize that was true of all of us. I guess we're all trying to get stuff done before the holidays. I think the most shocking news Sunday and yesterday was the death of Rob Reiner and his wife, supposedly at the hands of their son. That whole family, regardless of politics, has to be hurting terribly today, and they will need a lot of help in the coming weeks to get through this.

Trump sues BBC for $10 billion, accusing it of defamation over Jan. 6 speech edit It accused the BBC of "splicing together two entirely separate parts of President Trump's speech on January 6, 2021" in order to "intentionally misrepresent the meaning of what President Trump said." The video evidence is there. BBC took to separate parts of the speech and clipped them together, the edit took his remarks to march to the Capital Building, then splice it with a section much later where he said "fight like hell".

Reply to vxbush in 1: I got tapped to do a circuit board layout. My favorite thing. I was in the zone place power rails. When I am in the zone with a board I can lose track of time.

I absolutely hate Siemens eCAD tools. 5 hours work gone, POOF, because the damn tool can't handle a greater than 40ms latency across VPN. Does it tell you it failed to save. NO. It just saves and gives no indication. Good news is I'm working on the business case to dump Siemens in favor of a much better eCAD tool for our use case.

Well, there’s a lot of Internet speculation now that the Brown university murderer is a gender ambiguous pro Palestinian student activist. I’m not going to link to it in case this person is innocent, because the “evidence” so far seems to be pretty much none, but you can find out readily enough if you want to check out Instalundit.

Reply to Occasional Reader in 6: Fairly reasonable at this point to expect a Jew hater. Reports of yelling something like aloha snackbar, or something.
And from a comment at PJMedia: Although she wasn't in the classroom at the time of the shooting (it was under the direction of TAs), the overseeing professor is a Jewish woman whose areas of expertise are economics and Jewish studies.
